  • GT600 16" Fat Tire Bike
After a few days of ownership my initial impressions. Top speed- Since this is what everyone's main concern is I will start here. Out of the box it is speed limited to ~20mph. After doing the "decoding procedure" it raises the speed limiter to ~28mph(can be set to whatever you want via P07 setting). I am 240lbs 6'1". On flat ground I have gotten it to 26mph gps verified. No doubt a lighter person would be able to hit the 28 mph speed limiter. The average top speed is about 24 mph with me on it. The speedometer is actually accurate. It matches the gps app. Size-As mentioned before I'm 6'1". I fit the bike comfortably. I don't feel cramped and can peddle the bike just fine. My butt sits at the very rear of the seat so if you are really tall you might start to feel cramped. The seat height is pretty tall for a 16" tire bike. Definitely a teen-adult size frame. Seat height is ~31". Manual-Pretty good, the best part is you don't have to scour the internet looking how to "unlock" your bike. It has instructions and full parameters list, P01-P17 can be changed. I turned off pedal assist on mine, throttle only. More on this later. Tools- All tools needed come with the bike including a air pump. Nice! Dash/Display- Really good and easy to use. Even has a volt and watt meter! Only complaint is I have to put it into mode 5 every time its powered on. Probably a safety feature though starting in mode 0. Brakes- Cable brakes but they are adequate. Stops fast if needed. The front needed to be adjusted to eliminate drag. Suspension- Adequate, on the stiffer side and not a lot of travel. Combined with the fat tires it is fine though. Not suited for doing jumps but who am I to tell you how to live your life! Lights- Work good no complaints, even has turn signals in the rear. Assembly- Pretty easy, have to mount the handlebars, headlight, front fender, pedals, and front tire(recommend putting bike upside down for this once handle bars are installed). Complaints- #1 The pedal assist out of the box isn't great. Maybe this can be adjusted through the parameters but I elected to just turn it off. Its all or nothing and quickly out paces the single speed gearing. It also keeps running for a bit after you stop pedaling. Which makes it scetchy in slow speed situations. Once pedal assist is turned off its a pleasant ride. #2 There is a delay fron when you hit the throttle to when it starts applying power. This can probably be adjusted and I will play with the settings, likely another safety feature. #3 The front forks are a bit tweaked(not perfectly strait)and don't appear to be adjustable since the bottom triple clamp is welded together. Not a big deal but does trigger my OCD a bit. #4 Battery/Motor/CA legality. There is no UL certification I can find. There isn't even a amp hour rating on the battery.(I guess no rating or cert is better than fake ratings or certification). There is no watt rating on the motor. Closest thing is >48v16< which might be 48v x 16 amp = 768watt, who knows. Is the bike "CA legal"? Probably, but you can't prove it if you need to. Though the parameters it can be set to be a class 2 or class 3 bike. Out of the box its a class 2. Overall, I'm happy with the bike its really fun. Expectations can't be super high when seeking out the cheapest available options. This bike definitely feels like I got my money's worth. Its my second bike ordered from Lelekuai. They seem to be one of the better sellers of these ebikes from china. They have decent help videos on youtube for this bike too. My second day riding this beast I got caught in a torrential downpour and it took it like a champ. Hopefully this review helps some potential buyers. ... show more

  • Fantastic little E bike!
I bought this e-bike for a 14-year-old boy. He absolutely loves it. He ran it all day yesterday and eventually ran the battery down to zero. Therefore I bought a second battery. A boy has got to have his fun. It was very easy to assemble. I believe it took me about an hour or less. It uses high-quality parts. The gearing is made by Shimano. It has turn signals and a nice loud horn. It even has a dash panel where it displays the level of battery power remaining as well as an odometer and it has five speed modes: 1. Speed mode 0, which means that the bike will not go under its own power. 2. Speed mode 1, which takes the bike up to about 6 mph. 3. Speed mode 2, which takes the bike up to maybe 10 to 12 mph. 4. Speed mode 3 and takes the bike up to about 17 mph. 5. Speed mode 4 and it takes the bike up to maybe 22 mph. 6. Speed mode 5, which takes the bike up to about 28 mph. It’s a very smooth bike and the tires are well made. The tires hold 30 pounds of air pressure. I find it very easy to pump them up with an electric pump that I bought from Amazon for less than $50. It stopped pumping as soon as it’s at the correct psi level. Much less aggravating than trying to pump it up manually. If you’re buying this bike for a child, I highly recommend buying a backup battery. Otherwise it’s going to take eight hours or more to recharge the battery. I’m very happy with the bike because the boy I gave it to is very happy. I have one of my own, but it’s the V200 that I have and it’s just terrific. The only concern a person might have is if they want to put the bike on a bike rack on the back of an automobile it could be too heavy for some people to lift. The bigger bike weighs about 100 pounds. I’m not real sure what this bike weighs maybe 75 pounds. Just something to consider. ... show more

  • Cut wires
Seemed like a great buy until I tried to use the throttle and wasnt working. Took it apart and the wires were split. Now I have to figure out how to rewire it. Disappointed and not an easy fix. Ive only had it for a month.

  • Great bike, great price.
Great bike, great price. Only drawback is we haven't been able to get the bike over 19 to 20 mph except one time when going down a steep hill.

  • Electric bike issues!
The bike needed lots of little things done to it that should have been right before it was shipped. On-line searches and prior electric vehicle knowledge went a long was. Shipping was awesome!

  • Bike stopped working after settings change – need factory reset instructions/support
The bike powers on and shows full battery, but the motor no longer works after accessing the P-settings (P01–P17). There are no error codes, but neither throttle nor pedal assist engages the motor. It appears the controller may be locked or misconfigured. I have tried adjusting common parameters (P8, P9, P10, P14, etc.) and performing power resets, but nothing has resolved the issue. Could someone please provide: The correct factory/default P-settings for this model Instructions for a full factory reset (if available) Any guidance to unlock or restore motor function Thank you. ... show more

  • Great bike for a great price!
Great bike for first timers to e biking. Real good price on this bike too. Looks well built and quality control inspection. Everything is as it seems, no funny stuff. This is my 3rd e bike but this one is for my wife, who is a newbie to ebikes.
