This is just the right size for the amount of popcorn for one. The popcorn comes out light and fluffy. You may have to play around to find the right length of time for popping, depending on your microwave, but once you do - just yum!

I am not having much luck getting this popcorn popper to work. I followed the instructions, using 1 Tbsp popcorn and 1 Tbsp oil but the corn will not pop.

I have had one of this for >5 years, gifted a few of those to family, and talked several frinds into getting them. I own several Lekue silicone products, including lids, egg makers, and a pasta maker, and all are excellent products. The Lekue is, as far as I know, the original one, and I now see there are several copy-cats. One big advantage is that one can make pop-corn with no oil, and that regular popcorn works well. Of course, you can use the recipes included in the bookl (curry powder, coconut and butter??? yummy!) In any given batch of popcorn, a small proportion of kennels will not pop-up. Save these, and once you have enough, microwave again for less time than the fresh corn kennels (e.g., 2.2 min vs the 3.1 min of the original ). ... show more
