Features

  • HIGH-QUALITY OPTICS - the patented Perger-Porro prism system and state-of-the-art glass types deliver exceptionally bright, color-neutral images with unique three-dimensional plasticity and provide excellent contrast and maximum light transmission
  • PRECISE DISTANCE MEASUREMENT up to a true, repeatable 3,200 yards/2,900 m in an extremely short measuring time (max. 0.3 seconds) whether on long distances, in the mountains or in difficult weather conditions
  • RUGGED AND WEATHERPROOF - light magnesium body is extremely shock-resistant and waterproof to a depth of 16 ft / 5 m; the sophisticated AquaDura lens coating ensures clear vision at all times, even in bad weather
  • EASY OPERATION via Bluetooth and the new Hunting App that calculates the individual ballistic output values based on caliber, bullet type, trajectory and weight
  • BALLISTIC FUNCTION - the ballistic measurement values are available in three output formats: equivalent horizontal range (EHR), point-of-impact correction (holdover) and reticle adjustment

Description

For demanding long-range hunters and shooters, only the best will do. Brightest images, unique ergonomic design and the fastest, most reliable measurements - this combination makes Leica’s Geovid models pioneers in their class. Leading optical quality, superior mechanics and a rugged, sleek construction give Geovid rangefinder binoculars lasting value. The new Leica Geovid 3200.COM measures precisely to a true, repeatable 3,200 yards - whether on long distances, in the mountains or in difficult weather conditions. Easy, intuitive operation is guaranteed: equivalent horizontal range (EHR) output requires no pre-programming. In mountainous terrain, EHR gives you greater safety and flexibility. Leica’s own algorithm takes into account not only the linear distance and angle but also a realistic ballistic trajectory, making it much more accurate than the cosine function known as the Rifleman’s Rule. The result is a highly precise calculation of the EHR at a ballistic function range of 1,200?yds/1,100?m. Create and save the ballistics profiles of your rifles quickly and conveniently to the app. Next simply transfer a profile to the Geovid 3200.COM - in an instant!

  • Leica isn't messing around.
Style: 8x56
The 8x56 is what I got, the zoom seems more than it is so I'm very happy I went with the 8X because archery will be very fun with these and the light transmission is insane, I had my buddy convince me to get them and I'm happy I did. one thing I hated but came around with a solution, MOA in their hunting app and with my .300PRC rifle ballistics it wont give me the actual number through the device or too my apple watch. If do 1/4 or 1/8ths MOA it will but 1 moa will not give me any reading and I've connected and restarted it many many times watching every video on YouTube . So I just switched to MRAD lol and will be getting their top of the line PRS scope. Numbers are easier anyways while shooting long distance as everything is in bases of 10s. The Leica Calonox NV adapter has my eye as well. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for!
Style: 10x42
It was for my husband. This was his dream range finder. It did not disappoint! Worth the money.

  • Figuring out how to use them is maddening
Style: 10x42
The owners manual basically tells you nothing. Even if you go online and search around you can find limited information on how to use the features. I had to call Leica and spend some time with their technical man Hamilton to get things working. Biggest problem is leaving the Bluetooth on will drain your battery in 2 weeks. I found out the hard way when I was up in the mountains hunting I couldn’t get them to work because the battery was dead. Why can’t Leica give us some decent instructions either in a manual or online? This is the stupidest instruction manual I’ve ever seen! ... show more

  • decent rangefinder very bad software and connectivity
Style: 10x42
I upgraded from older Leica HD R model. This model feel much bulkier, much bigger than typical 10x binoculars. “Banana” shape can be pleasure to hold to some, I always feel awkward holding them. Build/optics quality is good, but not for price. At certain light conditions and view angles I can see internal electronics and microchips reflecting and being highlighted when data is displayed. Range finding is very reliable and repeatable for less than 1500 yards. Always get reading. Longer distances are less reliable. Built in ballistic curves do match all ammo that I use within 0.1 mil deviation. Bluetooth app and custom ballistics are useless. Only works for 308 168g, any other “custom” calculations are way off. Bad app makes custom ballistics useless. I presume app can be fixed, but App stayed same for several years, so I presume Leica dont cares. It is possible to connect to Kestrel over bluetooth and it gives very precise ballistics. Kestrel will add $500 and bluetooth connection is very unstable and finicky. You cant count on bluetooth link to work in the field. At the end - decent toy, but horrible software and connectivity. ... show more
