This is working out great behind an old 27" monitor that displays for my digital dashboard. I placed it at eye height at the foot of the stairs in my basement where I do all of my projects. It's hides all of the AC and computer cables that would otherwise clutter the installation, which is exactly what I wanted. I used a simple hanging mount (ASIN B071VCYBXW) for as flush a mount as I could find. It houses duplex outlets in 'old work' boxes on both sides and ethernet on a keystone plate in the middle, and to tuck the Raspberry Pi 4 for a totally uncluttered look. This box is great for Seamless installation of a tv on the wall with no wires visible. I installed an electrical outlet in the side as my wall is only 4 inches deep. The middle spot is a little tight for an appropriate outlet electrical box but if you use it for low voltage applications you should be fine. Okay, so the listing shows this item is "frequently returned" and maybe that is because they don't show photos of the back and measurements. So the item is fine, it just won't work for my application. Even though I am returning it, I thought I would post some pictures so you can get a better idea of how this is made. It is an "old work" type box where the screws butterfly out on the back and hold to the drywall. Includes two plates for the bottom and the top to cover the screws. I wish they made a box just like this with a flat back to inset thermostats, doorbells, etc. (that is what I needed and the ONE available on the market is too small for my 6" honeywell thermostat) Anyways, I hope this review was helpful to your shopping. ... show more

Honestly haven’t installed it yet, but so far it has been exactly as I anticipated. I am an electrician so I knew what to expect. Should work perfectly if I can find the tim to install. I Will update if It fails to meet expectations

    • Terrible fit
This thing is not sized properly to fit any other common electrical components like outlet boxes. Needs to be modified to fit any of them. Typical Chinese garbage product.

This product is ok and works, but they need to specify that you most likely will need a SHALLOW old work box...average size old work box depth is too much.
