Very nice box to put all of your internet equipment. Fits perfectly between the the studs in the wall. I did mine on a finished wall. Take time to cut the drywall smaller so you don’t Knick any wires. The box allows equipment to breathe so nothing overheats. And the plastic construction allows Wi-Fi signals to pass through. Wish I would of done this sooner!

First time installing a media cabinet and I wish I had done it sooner! Our new house had some of the ethernet lines run into our guest bedroom closet and since there was easy access to the crawlspace I decided to run additional lines and utilize this as hub for our house. I debated with going with a smaller size but as you can see I'm very glad I did not as the space fills up fast so go larger then you think in my opinion. The walls were already drywalled and finished but installation was pretty easy. This fits in a normal 2x4 framed wall without needing to be trimmed out. I did have to add some support since I only had one side to drill the box into at first. Once the box was in everything else was very easy. I installed this with the Legrand accessories like the surge protection outlet and of course the interior mounting brackets. Overall this has really cleaned up our entire house set up as everything is running to one place and we don't have to have individual set ups in each room given we primarily only use apps for TVs and the router covers the majority of the property with WiFi.

Anyone who gave this less than 5 stars is just wrong, honestly. This thing is hands down the best media enclosure available, and if you're an electrical contractor that doesn't exclusively use these on new residential builds, well you should probably re evaluate your career. It's the modern standard. It's sleek. It's ventilated. It's non metallic, and it's inexpensive as well as durable. Don't want to see your router or other WiFi equipment? Stuff it in here. There's room. Got a mess of cables? They'll fit. Got that poorly designed, brick-shaped Calix U6? It fits, if you're careful. Even the 20inch model will accommodate 95% of modern homes. So, whether you're a homeowner who wants to clean up that mess of cable that your electrician left in your utility room, or if you're a contractor wondering which media enclosure to use on your new builds, the answer is right here.

Great size for a small home network. I really wish they had better accessories for attaching your equipment to it, however there are a number of 3D printable projects on thingaverse that you can print in order to remedy that situation. Installation was pretty straightforward and it fits snug between 2 studs.

Great value easy and simple installation, big enough for all the components that you need for a small home automation system. Come prepare with a bunch of accessories that makes it easy to install. Ready to use in a few hours and top of that have a nice finish that makes the area that you install it looking like a professional with simple instructions to follow.

Recently installed this in my master bedroom closet. Was straight forward to install. I would suggest starting off with a small hold to make sure the space between your studs is large enough to support it... Also use a level to make sure as you install it the box isn't crocked in the wall. Made that mistake assuming it was to find out the area wasn't... Not the fault of the product though. Made the necessary cuts once i did find a spot. Started small and gradually enlarged it until I was able to fit the enclosure snug in the wall. The spot I found was a gap larger than what the enclosure was so I had to build standoffs from the studs to screw it in. Just make sure that the hole you make isn't to big otherwise the bezel it comes with doesn't cover all of it. After it was all said and done though it looks great and fits everything I need.

One of the best boxes out there for in wall installation. Perfectly matches the measurements listed on Amazon.com and also is sturdy enough to take load. I wasted money on a similar Vevor metal enclosure which never fit in between my studs and the seller refused to take it back. Compared to that, this is picture perfect, allows WiFi signals to pass through and is modular. You can add additional shelves, hooks etc. to allow for a clean organized look. BTW, I installed this in an old home and it was a retrofit.
