I needed a kit with a wormscrew gear arrangement for a possible science application. This may not work, but it was good to get experience building and seeing the tolerances of these plastic parts. Nice toy when finished too.

My 6 year old loves the Technic LEGO's and he really enjoyed putting this together and playing with it afterwards. Sometimes with LEGOs, they just sit around after getting built, but the Technic ones have more movement capabilities and he actually plays with them quite a bit after they are built.
