This is a game that I'm addicted to at age 58 ! My 4 yr old grandson taught me how to play the Xbox One games this past summer and the Lego games are my favorites . Hes pretty good at the games too for a 4 year old but this is a game that is a bit complicated for him and I wouldn't recommend it for a small child. The reason is one , it has some adult like humor they might not get second, it's a game that requires you to really problem solve and locate the items and I think they'd become frustrated and lose interest in the pursuits. For me however, I like the fact that the game makes me think (gotta keep those brain cells working) and there's a lot of driving in the game, which also makes me use my hands which at times don't work like they once did. I love this Lego search type game and recommend it to those that like to play detective in their down time. Plus it's fun ..... ... show more

I’m an adult with Xbox and love this game. Clever puzzles everywhere, great layout, races are fun, easy to change characters. Froze a few times and 100% completion was a let-down… was hoping for an extra level. Once I found red brick for color gun and got used to using scanner for clues and characters, game was much more fun! Worth every penny. ... show more

Bought this for my 3yr old. He's a bit young for the content, but loves his Legos and is already picking up the controls quite well. He really just free roams right now, but I do believe he will move onto the story mode eventually. I am not directing him to do anything with it but have fun. I got this one for him since he had played an old Lego Batman for the 360 on a trial we had and he loved it. The characters just mumbled in that game - no voice acting. We only did the first couple missions in LCUC, but so far the added voice acting is what really makes this game for me as an adult. It's packed with puns and kept me cracking up the whole time. The awesome part is I can hop in with him anytime and fool around on two player. ... show more

This game is great! We were gifted an Xbox and looked for a game the kids would love. Our kids are very into the Lego police and fire sets so this seemed like an obvious choice. The detail that is in the city is incredible! Most of the time our kids (ages 3 and 5) ride around exploring in cars and discovering hidden super bricks. They love the super builds. Occasionally we will join them and help them beat a level and unlock more abilities, but they can explore for seemingly endless hours. The puzzles in the story are fun and not terribly difficult. Some things took us grownups a couple times to master. Overall this is a fantastic family game and we look forward to trying new Lego games in the future because of it! ... show more

I have always enjoyed the Lego game series. This game is no exception and is a lot of fun to play. Game play is good, graphics are good and while it is challenging it is not overly hard. Great game for the whole family as my 6 year old likes it as well as my high schooler. I will say I have this game on the WiiU and find it a little better there but the Xbox One very is very good. Buy it and have some fun! ... show more

We got this for my grandson's 5th birthday. Big Sis (age 7) had a different Lego City game that she'd kindly permitted him to play, so he was definitely interested in Lego City. This is a great game, and he loves it! Returns the favor by letting his older sister play too. It's not a typical "jump on the button and catch stars" type game, it requires a bit of thought (not TOO much, it's still a kid's game!) and involves interesting scenarios. Highly recommended for the Lego City fan in your life! :) ... show more

Ok, So I loved everything about this game. So so much to do, though some of the things were more difficult for me. I am used to playing all of the other versions of Lego games with stories I already know like Harry Potter or Marvel, etc. But I was NOT disappointed by this game in the Least...
