  • Better Than Most LEGO Games
Platform For Display: PlayStation Vita Edition: Standard
I've noticed that other LEGO video games released for the PlayStation Vita have been getting bad reviews for poor graphics, poor gaming experience, etc. They get so much bad rep that I avoid most of these games completely, because reviews for other games of this type are trustworthy, to an extent. But when I viewed LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, I saw nothing but 4 or 5 star reviews, compared to the 1 to 3 star reviews for most others. I went with my gut and I'm glad I did. In terms of graphics, it is mostly moderate, with the HD mostly taking up the cutscenes (of which you get most of the humor), but in terms of gameplay, it couldn't be better for a game like this. You mostly experience what you would get in a console version (I don't have the console version because I don't have a console as of yet for this game), and this time, the characters talk in-game at times, of which the rest of the humor is placed in. As with all LEGO games, there is a lot of replay value, but the Trophy System in the Vita gives it even more replay value. I'm already almost at 50% in collecting all the trophies, with many more calling my name. And, we finally see Batman and the Justice League In SPACE. All in all, a great alternative to most of the other LEGO games, because the graphics are better, the gameplay is better, and the humor is just as good as the console versions as other games. 5/5. ... show more

Good game but level selection and customization in this game is a little complicated compared to most Lego games...a few minor glitches but generally it's better than batman on psp and batman 2 for ps vita. I got it used for about 12.00 bucks so it's worth every penny at that price.

  • Another Good One
Platform For Display: PlayStation Vita Edition: Standard
I was going cheap and getting the PSVita version rather than the one for the WiiU. My son was still pleased with it. He's played almost all of the Lego video games. What a great combination - Legos and video games. Plus like pre-freemium games you earn characters through play. And there a gazillion characters. The puzzle solving aspect is what brings me back. ... show more

I love LEGO games, and I absolutely love this game. It’s so fun. I highly recommend it on the Vita. It’s a good game to pass the time.
