This hat is perfect if you like the look of the character from WICKED! I would suggest that you use hat pins when wearing this hat because I had a problem with it tilting or moving to the size when I moved my head. The hat fit perfectly and I received several compliments on my outfit! It was the perfect accessory!

The hat itself is large and well made. As others have mentioned, it doesn't stay on easily. The head hole seems small. This sounds weird to say about a hat, but it rests ON my head, rather than fitting down over my head. That seems very much like a hat's purpose, right? The issue is: movement or a slight breeze send it toppling. (And there is always a breeze on Halloween.) I'm going to see what I can do about stretching it.

I was searching for a sturdy witch hat to wear on a Halloween hike this year. Most I viewed had terrible reviews about how cheap and flimsy they were. Not this one... so I got it. Couldn't have been happier! I did sew on a couple of ribbons to keep it from blowing off in the wind, but probably didn't need them. The hat fit well and was comfortable even after wearing it for a few hours. Looked great too.

I went to try the hat on after receiving it and the rim ripped immediately trying to get it on my head. I don’t have a huge head or something weird like that. My hair was up. No reason it shouldn’t fit and also rip when trying on for the first time. Luckily I have some sewing ability, so I widened the head hole and mended the brim and now it looks passable. Online the material looked velvet, but in person, it’s definitely faux velvet and it shows. Cheap, cheap, cheap fabric
