As someone who deals with chronic neck and shoulder tightness from desk work, this device has become essential to my wellness routine. The deep tissue penetration really works - I can feel it reaching muscle knots and tension that regular stretching just can't address. I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with decades of experience in the fitness industry. In my spare time, I enjoy testing and reviewing fitness and health products for Amazon. When Amazon offered to send me this vibrating massage gun, I thought I would give it a try and share my thoughts. I’ll preface this review by saying that I own the name brand, which is obviously substantially more expensive than this model. I don’t think it would be fair to compare this product to the name brand because there’s hundreds of dollars of difference in the price. Just on price alone, I would have to say that this massage gun is a very good value. It has quite a bit of strength and a strong battery. It did not take long to charge. It comes with multiple vibrating attachments. Some of them are foam rubber. Others are hard plastic. This is true of the name brand as well. The gun is easy to hold. It can provide a deep tissue massage. It certainly helps to ease aching muscles after a strenuous workout. I find that these are also great for the elderly, especially people who are bedridden, as unused muscles can become tense and sore. So why then am I only gonna give it four stars? Well, it’s glitchy. For some odd reason, when you put any pressure on the massage gun, it immediately goes to maximum speed. That’s not the way these things are supposed to work. I read a review from someone else who said the exact same thing. In that regard, I think there are other products of equal value that are worth considering.
