This cover is amazing. It's a quad-fold, so there are 4 easily manipulated sections, instead of 3 heavier, taller sections in a tri-fold. I feel like it's very secure, using clips that are operated (from either side) instead of the easily defeated cable method. When it's open it doesn't rest against the cab, and does not cover up the lights on the roof. The seals look really tight along the cab, rails and tailgate and it's been completely dry through the first couple of rains. The only negative at all about this product is the absolutely awful directions. They are obviously not written for this truck, so it's a real head-scratcher to figure out how things are supposed to go. The directions refer you to a video, but it's not geared toward the maverick either. After a little trial and error, things start to make sense. This cover came well packaged, and was delivered quickly. Although the instructions sent were not very helpful, with the pictures and some common sense, it was pretty easy to install and took about an hour for my wife and I to complete. One detail sheet said it was for a Nissan Frontier, but apparently was close enough to the Maverick to be included. The other sheet was generic. Some steps had to be trial and error. There is an included roll of putty with no mention in the instructions, which I used in small amounts in low spots on the plastic factory bed rails. Watching several videos on line was very helpful. The finished product fits very nicely and feels solid. It latches in several positions and is very easy to operate. Time will tell how well it does in the rain, but it did hold up fine to a water hose. All in all, I think a great purchase! ... show more

Got this on sale and it was a good value at that price, it feels solid and went together fairly easily. It was a little tricky getting it centered so both sides of the of the panels latch closed. I like that when folded into the vertical position, it doesn't block the third brake light, doesn't lean against the back window, is low profile and looks great. You don't have to unlock it from both sides, you can unlock and roll it up standing on either side of the bed so the functionality is great! Time will tell on its water resistance, but it'll keep snow out of the bed in the winter and hopefully improve the gas mileage a bit. ... show more

Very well made bed cover. I know it's made in China or at least this one was. I had another cover installed from another manufacturer that was made in the USA with parts from around the world. The quality of that cover did not compare. The instructions are generic but there are many videos on YouTube so it's not hard to figure out. Took me about 45 mins to install but I'm very particular. I would highly recommend this cover ... show more

Took a little bit of work to get it installed. But nothing crazy. The fit was snug, but I still see some water leaks after a heavy rain. I have not adjusted anything since first install (2 months ago). Looks great with the truck and works well one handed from either side.
