I ordered two four-packs and all bulbs were completely functional on arrival. I installed them within exterior enclosures, so time will tell how reliable they are when subjected to climate. Once installed it is so easy to walk around the residence and set the colors for a holiday or an occasion, and then reset back to plain illumination at other times. I was very pleased to find the bulbs remembered the last setting when powered off and back on. I don't know how long that memory lasts. I have not tried the timer functionality, since my exterior lights are already on a timer. Some notes I didn't see in the product description: the remotes use a standard 2025 battery (included) and have an easy slide-out tray for it; the rapid flashing feature only works for "white" light; both "white" light and the single color selections permit brightness adjustment in 3 or 4 steps, depending on color. I didn't think I would ever use rapid flashing, but I just realized it would be ideal if I was expecting a dinner delivery, I could just note to the driver to look for a blinking light on the front porch. I don't have the right test meter to check their lumens, but they are subjectively decently bright (somewhat dimmer in colors, as expected.) While I'm pleased for these as exterior lighting, I don't think I would choose to use them for interiors. The "white" light cannot be tuned, and there was some small variation in "white" color from bulb to bulb, which is noticeable when they are near each other. If I was designing this product, I would have allowed the "white" button switch between daylight, cool, and warm, since the bulbs are clearly capable of mixing colors. Overall I'm very pleased with this technology and this vendor, and I wish it had been affordable years ago. Now I have a bunch of single-color LED bulbs I have to give away. ... show more

Love these light bulbs! They have adequate color choices and features, certainly worth it for the money. I love having four remotes because I can place them around the house for easy customizing. I've bought similar lightbulbs (but not this exact brand) for many years and am generally happy with them. Unfortunately, these go into strobe mode when I hit the power button on the remote for my Vizio sound bar. This hasn't happened with similar color bulbs with near identical remotes before. They aren't even in the same room. The lights are in the hall outside of the room. The other buttons mostly just change the colors, and the light remote turns off the bluetooth on the sound bar and so forth. The lightbulbs seem to have a longer range, which is good if that's what you want, but I have recessed lighting and am unable to target single bulbs in different colors because they are too close together (again, this has not been a problem with similar bulbs). I would prefer if the dimmers were more gradual. They are very bright, the color features are as expected, and they work well otherwise. They are also a normal size. ... show more

I don't have a smart house so I really didn't care for lightbulbs that connected to Alexa or Google. I didn't want to download an app for a lightbulb. So I bought these. It was a great decision. The remote control works great and one can connect to all 4. The timer is also very nice. They automatically turn on at 5pm every night then turn off at 10pm. Set it and forget it. Also, a big problem these types of lightbulbs have is being too dim for most applications. These lights are nice and bright. I have them outside on my deck and it looks great and bright with any color. I only have 2 of the 4 in use and I'm still going to buy another 4 pack just to make sure I have them in reserve! These are great! The remote control works from a nice far distance. I can be all the way across the length of my house and it still works. It even works if the light is enclosed. I have one bulb in the upright living room lamp , I can change the color or dim the light as I'm watching TV. I also have one in my porch light, enclosed in the ceiling, and the remote still works. I change the light color for the current holiday. The same remote works for all of the bulbs. For the bulb in the porch light I used the timer function. It comes on at 7:00 p.m. and goes off at 7:00 a.m.. the perfect solution for the lights that I was looking for.👍 ... show more

I got these for my drum space (you can see it at the top in purple) and I love how it adds to the ambience and can change at anytime. The dimming feature also is fantastic.
