I was looking to replace the "boob" light fixture in my kitchen and was hoping for something a bit rustic or modern farmhouse. There are many variations of this type of light fixture, but the matte black one appealed to me because I plan to replace the appliances this fall, and most will be stainless steel with black trim, which will match nicely I think. My husband installed the fixture and said it took less than 10 minutes (he is, however, very handy). He wasn't too sure about the shadows this fixture casts, but I think it gives dimension and quite like it. I do plan to replace the bulbs with ones that have a bit more of an antique look. Overall I think this is a cute fixture and is a nice upgrade to the last one. Next up- to replace the kitchen sink lighting! ... show more

Picture will be added soon. This flush mount light is gorgeous. It's slightly bigger than what I expected, but the workmanship is gorgeous. The material is metal, and it doesn't feel like it will peel. Thr metal is comparable to rout iron, so there is weight to this light fixture. I will be installing my light on my exterior front porch, which is weather protected and made for exterior or interior use. I love that this light does not have the glass or plexiglass in it . So you won't have that foggy look or have to worry about dirt building up. You can install regular light bulbs or led bulbs. Definitely a upgrade in design ... show more

This comes fully assembled, very well built! we have it mounted above our front door, instillation was a very easy and the instructions were well written.this was a really nice upgrade that cast a good light on our walk way. I would totally buy this light again!

This light is well-built and feels very sturdy. We put it in the kitchen and it looks great on our ceiling. It comes well-packaged and had no damage. Included are wire-nuts and a mounting bracket.
