Yes they are cheaper than most but they are still not worth the price. The remote makes them short out. The Alexa app just makes them freeze. Just a bad product all together.

I received this item as part of the Amazon Vine program. Pro +bright +easy to use +programmable +more RGB Cons -unable to sync with other brands Overall 4/5 These light panels are great. They are well-packaged, easy to install, and easy to use. The lights are bright and very colorful, comparable to Hue's. The only con is the ability to sync to other similar products like Hues, but it is kind of expected to be, different brands and different APIs/data feeds. I’ll start with the pros, then will get into my reasons for giving this three stars. Pros: It was super fun for my son to pick what shape he put these in. They were easy to connect and came with everything needed in the box. The fact that you can pick pretty much any color is awesome. There are fun color animations as well. These lights were also easy to connect to the app. I also like that the power cord can plug into any of the ports on the design so it was easy to get it close enough to the wall to plug in. Cons: The remote seems to have a bit of a delay or doesn’t quite register what is pressed, so that gets a little frustrating. Also, you can’t change the shape of the design within the app, so even though you have a lot of customization options, it’s limited because the app is expecting a straight design. I didn’t realize that for some of the design patterns, the pieces need to be in a certain position, but we had already put them on the wall by that time. They connect to the wall with velcro stickers, so I can rotate the pieces, but our design is already set. This leads me to another not that since it sticks to the wall, you won’t be able to easily change the pattern. The app is also a little delayed when switching around options. From what I can tell, the music option works with music played over the phone, it doesn’t seem to respond when music is played in the room, which is disappointing. Overall, these are fun, but there’s a few kinks to work out! ... show more
