There are no children in our house so no one will be climbing on sturdy!. So, did not attach to the wall (we have plaster and it's a pain to repair, if it cracks). I was also very confused on what the "spacers" are for and where they were to go. So, didn't use those either. Otherwise, it holds all of my bags (all vintage & heavy) 24 +. Also holds all of my hats (130 baseball hats, 5 cowboy hats & 20 vintage. Nothing is "crammed in", plenty of room!!! Also for my sweater storage. PERFET! Also room for my 6 pairs of sneakers. The white color & clean lines fits into all decors. I plan on getting another in for our laundry room (all cubes, no hangers) to store all of my laundry supplies. Cubes are tall enough for paper towers & large bottles. Con: won't stop Spiders so will need to spray worth cedar oil once a month but, that's minor. I purchased the 10 cubicle with two hanging rods AND one of the smaller units for my grand daughter's room. One is for her clothes and the other unit is for her makeup and art supplies. My husband got both units assembled within an hour. He said the assembly was very easy. They look very nice and my granddaughter is thrilled with them. Sturdy construction and doors close nicely. We purchased this to put in a foyer for coats, hats, what knots, coats and shoes. It made the area nice and neat! It is durable and easy to put together. The top of the cabinet doesn't allow to anything to heavy to but that is not a problem. You can set a picture or something light weight on top. Good easy solution that anyone can pop up, but be careful as some of the connectors will break easily that hold the sides. For that I dropped the overall rating and sturdiness stars. But they are still good.
