I am overall very happy with these lights. I find that the light is not sufficient as a full sun replacement, though as a temporary solution it will work if you can get your plant within maybe 6" of the bulb. For my succulents that want bright light but that will burn in the sun, these bulbs seem to be working fine. I have two of the bars on each plant shelf within 6 to 10" of each plant depending on plant height, and some succulents that previously stretched are now growing in properly without stretching. My favorite feature of this light system is the flexibility in how to use it. With the low profile and the multiple cord options i was able to wind it through a tight shelving space and get a nice distribution of light to all my plants. The timer works well. The light these give off is not irritating to my eye. It is not purely white light, more a yellowish... which is a big improvement over the purple light some of my others give off. There are red and blue LEDs mixed in and that gives the light a nice range without being irritating. The lights are also very light weight and easily hold up with the tape. Overall, i am very happy with these. They do not work long term for full-sun plants (unless maybe you put ALL the lights on the one plant???) but they do work well for others.

Installed on 4 tier shelving unit. Instructions were provided and zip ties definitely helped. Took two to install with figuring out how we were going to make it work on the shelving unit. Overall,I think the lights will work to my satisfaction.

I created a propagation terrarium from a recycled exo terra 18x24 terrarium tank. I used 3m command picture strips (Velcro kind) so I could add and remove the lights and other objects as needed. I did not use any of the hardware or the red sticky tape that was included. I really didn’t like that it was red in color, since I was attaching the lights inside of glass. I fit 4 up at the top of each side, in a square format and only using one side of the switch attachment. This unit can work two sets of lights or split one or more oc the strips, so you can have some lights set for certain times and the others at a different time. I opted to use all just on one so they would work as one light. My only complaints is the red double sided tape, and the instructions could be s bit clearer for English speaking buyers. This appears to have been translated.

These are super plush and with 5 extensions in each box it's super easy to make whatever arrangement you need. I bought 2 packs I'll be buying a 3rd in the next few days for sure. The double sided sticky tape is WAY ridiculously sticky..... BUT it works great that's for sure just good luck getting the backing off lol. I guess I'd rather it be overly sticky than not so. I am actually using these for my fish room haha I have one bar going to each planted tank the light bars are stuck about 1 foot above them.

This is my second review after using these lights for a year. Been experimenting with adjusting the intensity and time running them. Have found out that the plants I choose weren't doing well. Some plants were getting to much light. Some not enough. So I've choose to remove them and start a cactus collection. It's only been a few weeks. I will update on the how they are doing. Also the timer function is not working properly. Doesn't work the same every day, losing a couple of minutes every few days. I try to keep it at sunrise and sunset. Still don't like having to be reset every time the power is turned off. To summarize these lights are OK if you have time to experiment with the light intensity and resetting them every few days. I'm a set and forget person, and watch and enjoy the plants grow.
