This boom arm paired with my Fifine AM8 microphone has been a fantastic upgrade to my setup! It’s sturdy and low-profile, fitting neatly under my monitor stands, and the built-in cable management keeps everything looking clean (plus it helps keep my cats from chewing on the cords). This boom arm is a good purchase, I bought it with my Fifine microphone, the boom arm has excellent cable management for the USB hook up, but XLR is a different story. You'll need to manage an XLR cable your own, but other than that this boom arm is heavy duty, I've had it for a day testing and using it and here's my only complaints and enjoyment factors. The range of motion is insanely good, it's awesome, 360 and 180, even has a ball joint for extra movement of your microphone. Ease of use is as simple as it gets after you assemble it. Just move it around to your liking, play, make music or whatever it is you do. The ONLY complaints I have is the part you stick the arm in to hold it is a little.. Lacking? You need a somewhat thick desk, it can't be too thing or else it won't hold good. I had to place a small piece of cardboard for it to hold, and the assembly of the ball joint is a little confusing, you need to loosen it just enough to where the ball joint doesn't fall out and to where it can stick on the arm. I personally had to hold the ball join together as I tightened it to the arm. But other than that? The Value is great, you pay for something others would call cheap but this is close or even better than some professional boom arms. It's a very close competitor. Long story short, Good range of motion, Good bang for your buck, Ball joint assembly a little confusing, and the thing that holds the boom arm up is a little limited for thin desks.

This is a surprisingly solid boom, low CG and about zero wobble. Even the clamp to desk is quality and perfectly does its job. Quality engineered and manufactured. With the articulated arm, and the socket end, there are enough degrees of freedom to suit anywhere I may want to have the mic, with my standing desk in any position.

For the money, this is a very good microphone arm. Easy to install took maybe 5 minutes tops. Excellent stability while still being able to move the mic position or swivel it completely out of the way. The low profile design is great for my setup since it doesn't block my side monitor like my previous arm did. Seems like it should be compatible with a wide variety of mics out of the box with the included adapter. My Shure mv7+ screwed right on without issue. Also very impressed with the nicely weighted base clamp that attached to my desk very firmly with zero wobble. The cable management built into the arms is also well designed and easy to route through.

The media could not be loaded. The microphone arm is great! Sturdy, I love that I can hide the cord, and it moves smoothly. I have mine relatively tight, so it takes a bit of effort to move. The ball joint that you screw the microphone onto is sturdy (I just wish the support was a little more open to allow it to move around more for repositioning). It does move up and down on the arm closest to the microphone, but NOT the arm closest to the clamp. The only other complaint I have is that the bolt doesn't screw all the way, so if your desk is like mine and is 1/2" thick, it won't tighten fully (I was able to resolve the issue with a thick piece of cork I have). Otherwise, it's a great support

=Intro= I have this Boom Arm attached to a Fifine AM8 for casual communication uses as I am upgrading my audio set-up to have a dedicated mic and headphone solution as opposed to a headset/mic combo, as the mic on my current headset is failing. =Aftersales Support= Originally when the arm came, the hand screw piece that clamps the mic down to the arm broke after I tightened it. I then reached out to Fifine Support [Rosie] about the issue, and after a few days, I had a brand new hand-screw part in hand at no cost to replace the old one, which now works and does not suffer from the same issue, so thank you for good after sales support on that. Now, as for the boom arm. =Physical Specs= The arm itself extends to a total length of ~28 inches, not including the length of your mic, which I feel is ample to position your mic roughly ~5 to 6 inches from your face even from a laid-back posture, if you were all the way pushed in to your desk. You can tighten the joints of the arm with included hex wrenches. I have not tested the tightness of the joints after tightening as that's not my use-case. The clamp itself has a very small desk footprint, taking up about 2.5 inches in width, and 2 inches in depth on the desk. The ball joint for adjusting the mic at the end of the boom arm is a bit finicky to adjust at first, as one clamp is responsible for adjusting the mic left and right, and also up and down. Luckily, the aforementioned hand-screw makes tuning this a bit easier. I've got it tightened to a point where I can adjust it with some force while tightened, but the mic still holds in place. =Cons/Feedback= Something that I wish they had added is the ability to drill the boom arm into your desk as opposed to a clamp, similar to a monitor stand. It's hard for me to tighten the arm entirely due to the clamp's position on my desk. This does not seem to be a common concept amongst other boom arms for some reason. Also, instead of a long hand screw to tighten the clamp from the underside, it would be nice if it was a cross-style or T-style hand screw so it would be easier to tighten the clamp in tight spaces [i.e, between desk legs and a drawer which is where my clamp is]. I'm not entirely sure if this is due to me over-tightening it, or adjusting it while tightened, but the ball-joint's powder coating seems to be scraping off a little. This doesn't seem to affect the functionality of the mic as a whole, or the overall general appearance, but just something to note. I do feel at times the clamp or the socket (unsure which) where the arm where the arm connects to the clamp is a tiny bit wobbly if I brush it with my arm, but I would say is stable at the end of the day. =Price= I got it on sale at ~40$, however even at MSRP, this is a solid buy as a beginner level boom arm. It holds my mic in place, pushes away easily when I don't want it there. Most other boom arms start at ~70$ from the research I had done from more established audio companies [Shure, Rode, Elgato, etc] for a hanging boom arm, with low-profile options costing more. I definitely feel like that this is a very competitive pricepoint for this boom arm.
