This boom arm is awesome, but there is something you should do in order to make sure it stays sturdy and doesn't wobble around because out of the box, it does have some slight wobble. I added a photo showing the under side of the top part of the desk clamp mount - you definitely have to tighten these three points up if you want the arm to stay put and sturdy. I kept messing around with it and it's not mentioned in the installation guide to tighten those up but after you do, it works exactly as you'd expect it to. There are a few times where I have to take the included Allen wrench and tighten up some of the top angle adjustment point, but it only take a couple of seconds a quick tighten, and then it's good to go and there's no sag or wobble going on. Cable management is a breeze, they just slide on and off put your cable in there, and forget about it. Super straightforward design, it's all-metal and has a wide range of motion, highly recommended! ... show more

An excellent value stand, especially when compared to similar-style stands that cost twice as much for comparable quality. Pros: -GOOD MOBILITY and easy to move aside when not in use. -CONVENIENT cable management; the bottom part can be REMOVED. -The end piece is COMPATIBLE with most, if not all, microphone holders. (3rd picture for reference) -No scuffs or scratches with the paint job! Cons: -The adjustable angle is limited to TOP BAR ONLY, not the bottom one. -No HEIGHT adjustment. Thinks To Check: -It would be a nice addition if it came with a basic microphone holder, particularly for the white model. You won't find any white microphone holders sold separate, so base your color choice on what your mic comes with! -The base is pretty big, even the handle that tightens it takes up space (Which can be removed). Measure your desk first, or find an alternative base that works with this one. ... show more

I've been wanting to upgrade my old Mic arm for a low profile anti-shock boom arm. The Elgato was a little expensive and fifine was kind enough to send me one in white. I have so many of their products and they have not disappointed me, you can hide your cables any it holds microphones as well. It holds their XLR microphones but I haven't tried it with any other microphone but if you're looking for a budget boom arm I recommend theirs it also comes in Black, to fit your look or aesthetic. ... show more

I’ve been looking for a white low profile boom arm for a while and this one has everything I was looking for. There were others but this one was the most affordable. Pros: It’s solid, and very sturdy. The tension is easily adjustable with the included tools and it holds my Shure MV7 securely. There’s hides for the cables under the arm and I love that they added a handle to the desk mount portion so you don’t have to fidget tightening a knob, especially when installing it to the back of your desk. Cons: The part that attaches the mic to the arm is a ball joint and while it does the job well I would have preferred a joint more like the others in the arm. Other than that I don’t have any other cons to add and I feel like that’s more of a nit pick than a con. Definitely worth picking up. ... show more

Keep in mind I have no prior experience with boom arms. This is a really good low profile boom arm. It allows a good range of motion, as well does not obstruct my view at all of my keyboard or the screen. It has good tension on the arm and for my fifine A6 it has no issues holding that up. The channel for the wires is also very useful, keeps them out of the way in a neat little way. And the ability to hold it to the side of the desk makes it stay out of the way and not needing to frill holes in the desk. ... show more

Comes in a compact box, with just the clamp and arm to assemble. Moving the mic away when I’m not calling anyone is super smooth and silent. It doesn’t move by itself either, and takes intentional force to move it, so I can’t move it by just nudging it or accidentally hitting it. Adjusting it is also smooth and silent. This arm is good for the price. Way better than any cheepo arm youll buy. It sometimes decides to sag a little after adjusting it so you cant just swiftly let go of it after adjusting, you have to let go slowly.
