We're using this for a section of our wedding event space where we wanted a bit more color splash and it fits the bill nicely. The colors are bright and clear, which is what you expect with the modern LED lights, and it definitely fills a space with light. I think this kind of light, rectangular rather than a thin bar, actually puts out a better wash of light. The power cord is heavy duty, but not overly long. The remote controller works fine. I have not tried the app version because the remote is working perfectly well and I already have two LED apps on my phone. I like sometimes to leave lights like this on a slow rainbow cycle, but this unit does flicker when adjusting between colors in the red-orange range. It's fine when it's set to a single color.

I ordered this light bar to add some flair to our holiday lighting and occasional use for parties. I was impressed with how much light this delivers for such a small package. It includes a variety of lighting modes on the included remote control, and even more options if you download the app and control it with your phone. The remote control is typical of LED products, a small, thin, light duty plastic pad with membrane buttons that works fine for occasional use, powered by a CR2032 coin battery. I like the feature that allows it to flash lights to keep rhythm with the music, but I didn’t like having to dedicate my phone’s microphone to the light bar all night in order to use that feature. It has plenty of other flash and color transition options to keep the festive feeling going without syncing up to music. When the party’s over, this unit includes warm and cool white LEDs that allow you to light up the room with a white light tone of your choice with adjustable brightness, so you could use this as regular lighting for a room, adjustable from romantic mood lighting to party animal mode. Overall, a bright, flexible, light bar with plenty of customizable options. Overall build quality and durability appears average and typical compared to other LED lighting products.

I got 2 of these lights from 2 different companies. Wasn't sure if they're going to be exactly the same. Turns out they are. I rated the other light 4 stars but this one 3 stars because it has an issue. The knob that screws into the side of the light to attach the stand on one of the sides won't screw in all the way. So, that bracket will not stay in place. The threads on the knob are fine but, the threads in the body were not properly tapped/threaded. Other than that, this is a good Budget LED wash light. The materials are on the budget side but, it does what it's supposed to do. The glass on the front is thin. The brackets on the sides are really light thin metal. The reflector behind the glass that surrounds the LEDs appears to be thin plastic. However, the body feels pretty sturdy. The light is bright. The remote works pretty well. As long as you point it towards the light and press firmly on the buttons. I think this is a good buy for light duty use, but not for professionals.

This item is super bright, in fact I wasn't ready for how bright it actually was when I first used it. To top it off the build quality seems really high and I haven't found anything specific to complain about. Granted, the included remote isn't the greatest thing ever made but then again, when is an LED rgb remote ever really the point. The app control for this item makes up for the remote immediately. It is easy to setup and use and connected immediately. The price is just right as well. A perfect budget value if you're looking for that little bit of extra flair in your setup.
