At first, the lamp seemed gimmicky. It turns out, it has some nice features. The lamp operates from a remote control that magnetically attaches to the pole. It seemed weird initially, but it’s really convenient. It’s very easy to grab, use and then put away. The lamp can be adjusted from dim to very bright. The color temperature adjusts from warm to cool. When it’s overcast outside, it’s nice to add a little sunniness with this lamp. The reading lamp works great, but I prefer the ceiling light for reading.

Excellent product with easy to use remote and lamp post control. Light can go from very bright to a gentle dim. Fully adjustable light direction can brighten the room with lit wall and ceiling WITHOUT glare of light going straight to your eyes! The best thing is the color of the light can be changed to warm color (I don’t like the white office-like light). I like the 2nd warmest color light. I’m buying another lol

The lamp provides a great light. It could be a bit stronger, but the adjustable colour temperature is excellent. I enjoy that I can switch on multiple lamps with a single press on the remote control. Due to the indirect light, I have now a lot less reflection when watching TV. The other lamp’s remote suddenly won’t sync a couple months using it. And the return windows was lapsed already. But the customer service is superb!!! They help me out quickly and replaced the broken one!!! Overall , Im very happy and satisfied on this product! I definitely buy another one for my mom! Thank you!

I like this LED floor lamp with the reading light and the ability to change the brightness and color. It's plenty bright. There are lots of buttons on the floor lamp and remote. It takes some practice to figure out what each are for. I taped the instructions onto the base for quick reference. The magnetic strip on remote control is handy to stick on the pole. I accidently knocked the remote off the pole and the remote broke into several pieces. Even the coiled wire for the battery compartment came out, as nothing on the inside is glued down. Luckily I was able to piece it back together. I would suggest putting tape on the remote to keep it closed.

It was great for a couple of weeks, then the remote stopped working. That shouldn't be a surprise, it is incredibly flimsy in structure and although there are clear instructions for how to "pair" or "re-pair" it with the lamp, nothing worked. What's absurd is that Amazon and the maker won't just send you a new remote to solve the problem. They want you to return the whole thing. Obviously, after disposing of the packaging this isn't viable so what they do is send you a complete new lamp (ostensibly with a working remote) and you swap the failed remote into the box and send the whole thing back after pairing the new remote with your existing lamp. (Taking your original one apart and trying to get it back in the packaging isn't worth the time and effort!) One can only wonder how many of these are piling up in the junk/reseller warehouses. It's sad because the lamp is really nice and works very well. I guess they'll sell them without the remote controls. UPDATE - they sent an entire new package and I took the remote from it and it paired up and worked perfectly. So I have to take the new box with the failed remote over to the UPS store and send it back. What a waste. Let's hope this new remote lasts longer than the first one.

I liked this lamp when I bought it. It was bright and dimmable. It does not have a steady base on carpeting. I had to lodge it between my couch and my wall so that it would not fall over. After less than a year, the remote control quit working. I put in new batteries I re-calculated it. It stopped working altogether. There are controls in the middle of the lamp that can be used manually . Unfortunately, it’s difficult to know which one dims the large bulb and which one dims the side bulb. It’s a guessing game. Nonetheless, I used it on the high setting in the evening. I’ve had this now for two years. Last night it got very bright and then I heard a pop. The centre of the lamp where the controls are was almost smoking as the smell of electrical wires being overheated was overwhelming. I quickly unplugged the lamp and then I touched the centre area and it was burning hot. I believe that if I had not unplugged the lamp, it would have certainly caught on fire. At first I was going to give this three stars. But after it almost caught fire, it deserves one star. I found the original paperwork for it and there is no contact for the company.. so if it messes up you are SOL. I’m going to try to contact Amazon because this is a hazard and should not be sold on Amazon. Be safe and buy something else from a different company.

My room is pretty small, around 10 square meters, and this light is definitely bright enough for the space. I really like that you can adjust both the brightness and the color temperature. I use that feature all the time. It's been a week now, and so far my main issue is that it gets really hot after being on for a while. Not sure how long it’ll last because of that.
