I like the fact that it projects the light upward, meaning you don't have to worry about it shining in your face whatsoever. The dimming settings are perfect. I appreciate that it has several settings, not just two or three like many lamps do. It can fully illuminate a room or give just enough of a dim glow to barely see, and everything in between. The color temperature settings are equally appreciated. It can go from very white to really, really orange. The setting I have mine at is very close to natural sunlight. The remote is very convenient. It seems to have finer control over the temperature and dim settings than the buttons on the lamp itself. You can also re-pair these remotes so if you buy multiples, you can link them all to a single remote if you want to. All in all, it was exactly what I was looking for. ... show more

These lamps are simplistic in their appearance, are fairly easy to assemble, are easy to operate, and convenient! They range from dim light, to very bright! Also have assorted hues to choose from, if you want the lighting to have a warm hue, or a cool hue, or something in between! The lamps also come with a remote control, so you can change the lighting, turn it on or off, from a distance, or if you have a habit of losing your remote control, the lamp's pole and remote are magnetic, you can affix the remote to the lamp pole! Work like a champ for this price! Would recommend. If I were to pick on it, that would be the plug orientation/style. It is the traditional bulky plug that sticks out from the wall socket and needs some easy workarounds if you need it to sit flush to the wall so that you can hide the plug and socket behind some furnitures like a TV stand in my case. This is a great low-priced floor lamp, and since it is LED it can potentially last for 20 years before the light goes out. The fact that it comes with a remote that not only powers it on and off but also features adjustment of the brightness level, color temperature, as well as offering a night light feature was as enthralling as it could get with a lamp when I first got it. It beats old-style incandescent or halogen lamp by MILES. And then the problem with the remote started. Whatever I needed it to do began to take TWO presses to accomplish. And then three. And then four. After a while I lost count and I came THIS close to throwing the darn remote against the wall. And then I started testing various OTHER angles of pointing the remote, other than the obvious choice of pointing it AT the lamp. After a while I began to realize pointing it AWAY from the lamp seems to work better. Umm...what the heck?!!! AND THEN I figured it out. You have to hold the remote upside down. As in holding it with all the feature buttons in your palm, and the blank part pointing at the lamp (please refer to my photo). And now every button works as it should with just one press!!!! The brilliant Chinese manufacturing had the remote signal going out from the BOTTOM of the remote, NOT the top! Who knew! Before this I was looking into giving up on the remote altogether and getting one of those WIFI remote control devices and using my phone as a remote. I don't need to do that at all now. Counter-intuitive is intuitive when it comes to some Made in China products. Lesson learned. ... show more

It was great for a couple of weeks, then the remote stopped working. That shouldn't be a surprise, it is incredibly flimsy in structure and although there are clear instructions for how to "pair" or "re-pair" it with the lamp, nothing worked. What's absurd is that Amazon and the maker won't just send you a new remote to solve the problem. They want you to return the whole thing. Obviously, after disposing of the packaging this isn't viable so what they do is send you a complete new lamp (ostensibly with a working remote) and you swap the failed remote into the box and send the whole thing back after pairing the new remote with your existing lamp. (Taking your original one apart and trying to get it back in the packaging isn't worth the time and effort!) One can only wonder how many of these are piling up in the junk/reseller warehouses. It's sad because the lamp is really nice and works very well. I guess they'll sell them without the remote controls. UPDATE - they sent an entire new package and I took the remote from it and it paired up and worked perfectly. So I have to take the new box with the failed remote over to the UPS store and send it back. What a waste. Let's hope this new remote lasts longer than the first one. ... show more

I needed to get a better lamp for my arts and crafts room because crocheting while squinting is just not feasible. I saw a crocheter I follow on social media post about this lamp and how she uses it in her office, so I decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised with how bright this lamp can get! I use the white light feature, but I like how there are different lighting options that you can play around with depending on your preference and/or needs. My husband assembled it for me and he said that it only took him a half hour, so hopefully that's a testament to its simple assembly. 10/10 would recommend! ... show more

I've enjoyed this lamp for more than year. It lights up large spaces well and the different settings for the warmth of the light are very useful. Only knock is the remote up and died on me out of nowhere and the instructions to pair the remote with the lamp again didn't do anything as well.
