Easy to use, great light level. Got these lights for under kitchen cabinets to light the countertops and they do a great job of this. Project the perfect amount of light. Only negative is the magnets included to hold them up seem to drain the battery quickly (like a few hours). We attached some with the magnets (few hours) and some with velcro (few days) and there is an obvious difference in the charge duration from the ones attached via magnets. These lights are fantastic! They’re super bright and look really nice. The only little downside is that I'm always charging them. I have mine set to wake up automatically when they detect motion, which is great until you're constantly charging since our house is currently very full with there being 6 of us. ! I purchased these to add a little flair under our kitchen cabinets. I love that they use a motion sensor, which makes them feel more premium than a constant light. On installation: Others have mentioned how it is important to space them properly. I used sticky tack to temporarily place them to make sure that the light from one would not interfere with the light from another. Turns out I had them spaced far enough on the first try, but it’s worth doing a test run before making them permanent. I love that they use magnets to stick to the cabinet. The set comes with metal pieces that use normal sticky adhesive to stick to the cabinet. The lights then stick to the 1” square metal piece from a magnet inside the light. I think it’s brilliant, and you may not need the adhesive pieces at all if you plan to place them on a metallic surface. Regardless, they’re insanely easy to install, especially compared to a real wired light. On charging: We have a clear preference for walking around our island, as evidenced by the fact one light will always go out faster than the others. Battery life spans about 2-4 weeks depending on location, even in a pretty high traffic kitchen (sometimes the dogs tails wag just right and set them off). The set included two more lights than I really needed, so I always have a charged light to swap in. They use a micro USB to charge, but hold a charge well and seem to last a long time considering I keep them near the brightest setting. Setting them up: These lights have many different modes. I keep mine on “day mode,” which is the sun symbol on the remote control. This somewhat unintuitive, but “day mode” means they won’t turn on when it senses the room is already well lit, which saves battery life and means they only turn on when they’d actually make a visible difference. We have ample natural light during the day so there isn’t a need for them to turn on then. All in all: For what you pay, I seriously think this is one of the highest value add things you can put in your home. We entertain a lot and friends comment on how much they love them. Most are shocked we didn’t have to rewire the kitchen or spend a fortune for how much light they put out. Would I buy them again? Absolutely. I didn’t do a lot of comparison shopping but at this price point it’s hard to see how you can beat them. Hope this review was helpful! ... show more

These are very small rechargeable LED lights that are PERFECT for the right situation. They may not be big enough nor powerful enough for a large space such as a closet or room unless you just want a bit of light (unless you use a lot of them). In my case, I needed a solution for a built in "armoire" that was dark and hard to navigate even during the day. The cabinet has four doors, two up and two down, with 4 shelves in each top unit and 2 in each bottom unit for a total of 12 shelves that I needed to light requiring 12 lights so the cost per light was important and this set of 5 for $28.49 or $5.70 per light was ideal. I ordered one set of 5 lights to try and was very pleased wit the results. I ordered two more sets to complete the job (12 installed, 3 spares). The lights all come on perfectly when each door is opened as ambient light in the room or light from other shelves does not effect the motion-only detection setting. (Caution: A self stick metal rectangle is used to hold the light in place. Be careful when placing the self stick material as it is nearly impossible to move once placed.) I was a bit concerned at first as the lights seemed to lose their charge within a few days but it turned out that was most likely a result of the onboard rechargeable batteries only having a modest charge when they arrived. After charging them fully they all have now lasted more than a month without requiring additional charging. The lights had to be able to be set to activate with motion and not be dependent on it being dark as I wanted the lights to come on every time I opened the door(s) regardless of day or night.     • Nice lights terrible charge

Biggest pain point: they stay charged for maybe 2 days. We probably keep them on for about 4 hours a day.. the charge should last longer. Overall they are nice and work well, but would be better for closest not under cabinets. However, the instructions to have the lights stay on without going into motion sensing doesn’t work. There is a button on the remote you can press for them to stay on, but when you turn them off it doesn’t stay in that setting like the instructions say. Instruction are also poorly written, and missing parts. It isn’t the end of the world to have to turn them on and push the button for each one, just annoying. ... show more
