The 6-speed control is actually useful, not just a gimmick. Lower speeds are great for indoor or car use, while higher speeds are strong enough to move dry leaves and light snow. Love it. Light, easy to carry and works extremely well. The blower is also compatible with 18v Makita batteries but the charger is not. I bought it to blow off porches without dragging out the heavy gas blower so I wasn’t expecting much but it has far exceeded my expectations.
