I actually was skeptical about this product, I'm actually a really hard to please person. sometimes I confess I'm a Karen😅 but I just can't say anything bad about this. Don't pay attention to the negative comments about how ugly were the colors, about how the colors faded away while using them, about how cheap they look and that they reap apart to the touch. NOT THE CASE!! SHIPPING WAS EXTREMELY FAST, THE PRODUCT ITS AMAZING, DOESN'T FADE, BEAUTIFUL COLORS, VERY RESISTANT FOR ANY PROJECT. THEY LOOK LIKE A HIGH END PRODUCT NO ONE WILL NOTICE IT WAS JUST .50 CENT A PIECE. THIS EASILY WILL PAST AS A 5.99 METALLIC THREAD!!!! IM JUST SO EXTREMELY PLEASE!!!! The media could not be loaded. I really love this floss. Buying it in bulk saved me a ton of money since I needed so much of it for my projects. A lot of other reviews complain that it frays, but it is supposed to! It allows you to use different thicknesses of thread. I was really happy that I was able to thin it out without tangling it in order to achieve different line weights/thickness for my projects. I would recommend taping the end and using wide-eyed embroidery needle if you aren't going to thin it out. I had a bit of frustration with it catching on my fabric and the silver stuff tearing off, but I found that if I used shorter strands and was more gentle when separating the pieces that it really didn't shred at all. It is very sparkly and has a bright color!

No me llegaron todos los colores de las fotografías de compra y el morado vienen 4 unidades (2 más del mismo color aunque diferente textura de hilo) , pero agradezco mucho los colores blanco metálico, palo rosa y uno muy bonito en color tornasol que no deberían estar en la compra pero me llegaron en lugar de otros colores... La textura del hilo es muy delgada,vienen 12 hebras en cada uno y para bordar necesitarás varios hilos juntos, sin embargo, son suaves y con un dispositivo para ayudarte a insertar el hilo en la aguja será más fácil. Amigos, no esperen los colores de las fotografías porque es probable que no te lleguen exactamente iguales y eso te va a decepcionar. Ya que es un pasatiempo que me gusta mucho, voy a comprar los colores que me faltan (rojo, verde navideño y celeste) a otro vendedor!

This thread is beautiful to work with of craft projects other than embroidery. The strands go all different directions making it impossible to thread through a needle unless using only one strand. The metallic finish tends to rub off on the fabric as it goes through repeatedly so you can only work with very short cuts. The picture included is one way I ended up using the thread by jazzing up our Christmas ornaments.

This product is perfect for adding a little sparkle to any project. Texture is quite like Christmas tinsel. Remember that it won't embroider like cotton thread. Best to put on a spool in advance if use. Keep strands shorter than you'd normally use, to avoid tangling and breaking. Knots are very easy to undo. It will catch on cotton threads, which also can be avoided with shorter strands.

This package contains every color that I need. I am very happy that I purchased it. The metallic floss is a little hard to work with, but then all of the metallic floss that I have worked with is a pit hard to work with. You just have to use shorter pieces of floss so that is does not tear, tangle or fray from going through the material. If need to I would buy this again.
