I bought this kettle on sale and it almost feels unfair….cuz it’s great. I would have gladly paid more. The best attribute for me is that the color has not changed at all. I am careful to but it on a smaller burner so the flames do not wrap round the bottom on the the side…but so it looks pristine and its been months. ... show more

This is a heavy-duty kettle, not that lightweight tinfoil thickness I saw in the local big box stores. I appreciate the wide oversized fill mouth, with its substantial lid, for easy peasy filling and cleaning. The swivel handle feels a little tight at the rivets, but that may free up a bit after use. The handle does get hot, but the flip-lock spout for easy pouring more than makes up for that. My hands don't get near the business end at all while pouring. I also like the fairly loud whistle which alerts me at the other end of the house, where I spend a lot of my tea time gaming. It's a bit pricey but after using it, I'm convinced that this kettle will last a long time. ... show more

My kitchen is black and white and needed some color. This kettle delivers on all expectations. The quality is great. My only concern is that the lid is hard to use. It would look very nice for a house staging. However, its functionality is less than desirable. No matter the level of water or rate of pour or tilt angle water drips on the bottom side of the spout. Upon opening the box I discovered a beautiful build quality with some weight to the tea kettle. This product is definitely not like the cheap tea kettles from the 70's like my parents once had. I followed the instructions to boil the first pot of water and discard, let cool and then boil a fresh pot of water for drinking. This little pot looks and functions wonderfully on my new gas stove with stainless finishes. Water heats in about four minutes and good for someone looking for one to three cups to use at a time. Handle gets warm but I can use it without a pot holder, lid seals nicely, flip lid works great and I don't think it will break over time. Because of the good build quality and the fact that it is stainless steel I predict many years of use from this kettle. I am happy that I could save for and purchase this pot instead of purchasing multiple cheap pots before discovering this one. Great purchase, fast shipping, would buy this brand again! ... show more
