Fits my 18" diameter 60qt brew pot just right - didn't have to use any other method to secure the bag - tension around the top edge of the pot held it in place. I brewed my first all grain BIAB beer a few weeks ago with this bag and was very happy with it. HOWEVER, do not use a false bottom in the kettle like I did because it was almost overflowing in my 10 gallon kettle during the mash. I did not want the bag to rip on the temperature gauge tube so I used a false bottom when I really didn't need to. ... show more

This turned out to be a good quality straining bag. I was able to mash an all grain beer batch, pull the bag out by the handles, let it drain, and then sparge without the handles or the mesh giving way.

Bag handles are nice and help more than a draw string bag. Did 12lbs of grain and gained a slight rip after one use. Nothing serious but the quality is a concern moving forward with future brews.

This is very heavy duty and doesn't tear when I stir the ingredients. We use the bag for making botanical extracts.
