I've been wanting a hammock for my backyard by the pool for awhile now. I love the look of a rope type hammock. But for comfort, I actually prefer the fabric type hammock. This Lazy Daze hammock is the best of both! You get the authentic feel of an island rope hammock, but the fabric pad just makes it to much more comfortable! No feeling like a fish caught in a net lol. The pad is just the right thickness & ties securely to the hammock. The hardware that comes with this is very strong & feels heavy duty. At first I wasn't sure what good the pillow would be, because it's not very thick. But it's actually perfect. I couldn't quite figure out a way to take a picture of myself in the hammock, but I'll try to get a picture of one of us relaxing by the pool in this & add it later. I've already enjoyed a poolside nap this weekend lol.

Lots of positives about this hammock, but I’m gonna start with the negative because it can make her break the deal for you. I have the right size hammock stand for this hammock, but the rope part of it is very stretchy and even though I weigh less than 160 pounds when I got in it, even though the hammock was set were hung at the highest and tightest possible combination. It made the hammock sink more than 12 inches. My body was about 3/4 of an inch away from striking the bottom of the hammock stand. I have two photos here one is with no one in it and one is with me in it. If I had not make the hammock as high and tight as possible, my body hit the ground. I’m gonna go on about the positives now, but this should be on a hammock stands that is too big for it or hung very high between two trees. High-quality materials. Extremely comfortable, including the padded pad that is tied on. Comfortable pillow. Nice colored stripes, and even though the pad isn’t supposed to be reversible, it could easily do so and then it would be navy blue. The pillow would remain striped. To recap, Uusg on a hammock stand that is too big for it, or tie in a tree higher than you think you should. Then it’s perfect. I decided I could not use it with my hammock stand, but I was regretful as it looks great.

I love the cover for the hammock and the size is nice. But the fabric of the rope stretches too much and the hammock ends up tilting too much. It's actually really unsafe. I fell out of it today and I could have really hurt my neck. The return window has closed unfortunately. Otherwise I would be returning it Not safe

This hammock really gives you the best of both worlds. You get the classic feel of a rope hammock, but with a padded cover and pillow you can add when you want a little more comfort. It feels well made, and I expect to get years of use out of it. A couple of notes: like most hammocks, it does stretch a bit when you first use it, so adjust it carefully unless you want an unplanned meeting with the ground. That is normal, but worth paying attention to. I do wish the pillow had a little more padding, but it is still usable. The side pocket is a nice touch for a phone, book, or sunglasses, and the included storage sleeve makes it easy to roll up and put away. Overall, very happy with it. Solid hammock, comfortable setup, and practical extras.

What a lovely hammock! I ordered one from Lazy Daze last year and it was time for a second one since I don't like to share, and I am glad I ordered this one! It's got a pad on it that you can roll up and take inside so that when you want to go enjoy your outdoor hammock, you take your nice clean cover and add it to the rope for easy maintenance and use. So often we don't go out when everything is covered in pollen, but with this cover we don't have to worry about it. The cover has stayed on through a few storms now, and it's no different than when it was installed. It seems very durable. It was easy to install on our hammock stand, and compared with other hammocks I'd say this is a good price at $85.

This hammock has very comfortable material. It comes with the chains needed to hang it. It rolls up nice and can be placed into the included bag. It's not super portable but does have a carrying/storage case which is a plus. We would recommend this hammock. Overall I believe it is of good value for the cost. As always I will evaluate long term and update with any new information
