I bought this as a reading chair and it doesn’t disappoint! Very comfy for reading in, and love the little side pocket that holds my phone or kindle. Ottoman is a great add on and is a good height too. Color was as expected as well. Supper happy with it! That being said, I also loved the idea that it could be machine washed, because I have cats and knew they would also love this. The thing is, it’s not a “cover” that removes and is washed, it actually all of the chair that is not the metal. You basically take the chair entirely apart and have to wash the entire cushion unit- all the cloth/cushion is one entire big piece. I have a super size washer for king size quilts and the cushion *barely* and I mean barely, fit. Same with my dryer, I didn’t think I’d be able to get my dryer door to shut! You’re better off keeping a removable cover on it that you can wash separately if your cat pukes on it, instead of trying to wash the chair. Would be 5 stars, if I hadn’t wanted to wash it! ... show more
