I’ve got a lot of decks, three of them. I also have a couple of acres outside. I’ve got three powerful leaf blowers, two battery (Kobalt and Ego) and one corded (Toro) for driveway and yards. But it is a pain to drag them up and out onto the front or back decks. And neither one is light enough for my wife to comfortably use. I hadn’t thought of getting another one as I thought of the weight and still another device. However, I came across this light-weight leaf blower (half to one-third the weight of the three I have now) and I took a chance. The LazGarden is really really LIGHT (3.9 pounds – think loaded laptop). My wife immediately said ‘thank you’ and gave it a convenient place in our Florida room on the deck where she can blow off our roughly 800 SF of decks any time she wants and not wait on me. I worried about the batteries. Unlike the two battery systems I have now, the batteries didn’t have any button to check the charge. I was puzzled. I finally realized that the ‘red/green’ light indicating whether or not the battery was charged was on the transformer and not on the battery. I don’t like having a ‘yes/no’ battery charge measure but I know this detail cuts the weight and cost. The charged battery seems to run the blower for an hour or more without a problem. The blower has a cheerful yellow and black color scheme. The nozzle is light and attaches easily. The handle is very comfortable. The rotary control allows ramping the blower up from light and quiet to a fairly powerful blowing which is pretty noisy, but no more so than most other blowers.     • A good choice for light duty

Living in the Pacific Northwest, one of my gardening problems is that it is wet pretty much 11 months out of the year (August is always super dry). I have lots of trees in my yard, both deciduous and evergreen, so the leaves are wet and sticky, especially in the late winter/early spring when I'm trying to do yard cleanup. This leaf blower struggles a little when the leaves are wet but I was at least able to make an impact. And I was willing to live with some compromises, as I absolutely positively refuse to use tools that have a gas motor. The batteries for sure take an ETERNITY to charge up! I don't know if it is the circuitry in my house or what, but they took a good three hours each to charge fully. The blower itself was easy right out of the box -- just clip on the long nozzle. The nozzle has a little curved scoop at the tip which probably makes it easier for most people to sweep up leaves but I found the nozzle to create a constant challenge about what angle I need to point the blower in order to sweep leaves with. I tried different techniques of waving it hip-high back and forth and then I found I could do some scooping using kind of a shoveling stroke as well. I made a first pass to whip up the leaves, let them dry for a day and went back and got more of them the second day. On high, I got about seven or eight minutes max before the blower just suddenly stopped. That's probably why you get two batteries. On the low setting, I got about 15 minutes of blowing. The blower did an easy job with needles (only needed the lowest setting), but could not handle the unusually long and prickly spindles that are the hallmark of my two California redwoods. The blower is light enough that I can use either hand to work it, and it has several intensities you select with the rolling power button. I like that you can turn it on and it stays on (you don't have to wear out your thumb holding a power button just to keep it going.) But the power button is in a handy place you can reach with the thumb of the same hand that is holding the blower. I didn't find the noise to be unusually loud, either. You're running a blower, but it's electric and quite a bit less obnoxious than the gas powered ones, in my opinion. I've only had it a week or so, and I can't say anything about the life of the batteries, but so far, this blower has definitely helped me with my yard cleanup. ... show more

I love this really powerful lightweight leaf blower! While I don’t have many leaves this time of year, I did have a very dusty and dirty front porch and mat. This blower not only blew the dust, dirt, little rocks and other items off the concrete and cracks, but I could see the dirt and dust being literally pushed out of my mat in seconds (see photos—the darker mat no longer has a ton of dirt and dust!) Using this blower was quick and fun to do this task—much better than using a broom! I was impressed by how well it can move dirt, small twigs, and pieces of tumbleweed, in addition to dead leaves. It worked to move twigs from the rock ground cover parts of my front yard, but I had to use a lower setting to make sure it didn’t move the rocks with the twigs! I tried it on some dead leaves, and it was like watching grasshoppers jump into the air when the blower was in the vicinity of the grass. One battery lasted 15-1/2 minutes after running non-stop using setting 2 mostly with a few minutes on setting 5 (high). The batteries have no indication of the charge level. Luckily, with the 2 batteries, it can be run around 30 minutes total in one shot. I found setting 2 to be plenty powerful for most of my needs. This is one powerful blower! I love the convenience of not having to plug it in but still having amazing blowing power. Recommend! ... show more

This leaf blower works great for being so ultra light and cordless, and it's super versatile for helping with a ton of different jobs. I can blow the leaves out of my flower beds, blow dirt and dust off the patio or garage floor, and dirt that splashes up on the siding. They give you two batteries, which last a long time, and recharge very quickly, so you can fully finish large jobs without having to stop in the middle. It worked right out of the box immediately, and I really like having multiple different speeds, including a more gentle speed which is perfect for blowing leaves while not disturbing mulch - blowers I've had in the past were often super powerful and had only one or two settings which ended up making more of a mess than cleaning. It's easy and intuitive to use, takes up very little space compared to larger types, and is really light to carry around so you won't get tired lugging something too heavy and bulky. ... show more
