Top down bottom up shades. We recently installed new windows that will allow for me to open the top only for airflow. Also to keep my indoor only cats safe from getting out through an open bottom window. The cats love to sit on window perches. Well I have to say I am extremely impressed with these shades. I purchased the brown light filtering and was relieved to see they are more of a tan color than dark brown. This goes well with many of the colors in my house. But the real LOVE came when I installed them. I have to say there is not much in the way of instructions with them, but I was still able to surmise after looking at all the pieces that they would be fairly easy. I purchased 5 (non-custom) 32x64 on July 12. They arrived on Sunday July 16th and I am happy to say all are installed today July 17th 😊. The fit is perfect and I am so pleased with the results. I am over 50 and was able to install them all in about 2 1/2 hours using nothing but a ruler, pencil, step stool and a screwdriver! How easy is that! . I would have like these $5 less ea. However they are Absolutely lovely. Your measuring instructions were precise. Very easy to install. Not as much installation in each cone, so hopefully they hold up in this Vegas Sun. They are on the inside (window is not hot even at 116 day before)and a soft color so they should stay just perfect. Easy to operate. I think ea. One should have an extra up&,lower clip so if not accessible directly from the middle, still will move evenly but SUPER PLEASED THUS FAR W/PURCHASE. 5 min. to install. Both top and bottom move smoothly. Perfect fit and perfect shade, not too bright, not too dark. Hopefully the connecting strings last as I'm always worried too thin.
