I have bought these for most of the windows in my home. I chose them because of the ease of instillation, but I also like the quality of the items and the many choices of sizes, width, and lengths. They are installed on the inside portion of the window trim, so my woodwork is still visible, which I really appreciate. They look clean and are easy to raise and lower, they offer good insulation properties, and are not overly heavy. They are room darkening as advertised. I had two shades that did not function correctly, and the seller quickly replaced them, no questions asked. I just had to return the malfunctioning items later. I recommend these blinds and thought the value was good compared to much costlier items sold in stores.

I am very pleased with these LazBlinds. This is the second pair I've ordered, and I just ordered two more today just prior to writing this review! I was a bit skeptical at first as to how well the no-drill installation would hold up. I am the type of person who likes to make sure that anything I install is beyond secure, and I would usually feel more comfortable installing using the typical screw-in mounting. However, these blinds impressed me with the secure fitting into the window frame. The ends are spring loaded and press in as you place them into position within the window frame. Then, all it takes is a few turns of the plastic nuts (one of each side) with the provided open-end wrench, and they are secure. I made sure I went from one side to the other so that the pressure was evenly distributed on both nuts. Then slide the cover over the nuts, and you're done! I would not recommend extreme pressure on the nuts, as they are plastic after all. Besides, it's not needed. Just tighten them to a reasonable snugness. As for blackout of light, these do not disappoint. The blinds provide total coverage. In my installation, there was some minor light seeping around the edges, but it is very minimal, and I think, reasonable and expected. I can now sleep without having to pile up extra pillows on the bed to block out the sunlight in the morning! I also notice that they have blocked some of the outside noise from the street. It's muffled now. In the afternoon, I leave them closed to block out the hot summer afternoon sun. It makes a difference because the heat is reflected away. I love my new blinds, and they didn't break the bank either. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone looking for window coverings.

These work great if you don’t want to screw into the frame. I ordered the cream colored for most of the house and the color is so awful I had to install them backwards so I didn’t have to look at it. they are custom so you can’t send them back. The last two I ordered white and I love them. They are definitely blackout except for around the left\right edges.

Need to block heat from your room? I highly recommend these blinds. It also works well for room darkening but not total darkness. I would purchase again for my needs as heat repelling is my main concern.

Initial impression is that these are pretty nice blinds. Quality is good. Ridiculously easy to install. Does what it’s supposed to do. Look great on window. Only concern I have is whether they will stay put on a vinyl window frame. Here in the south, vinyl is the preferred material for windows. This is installed in the middle part of a bay window. Wanted some privacy at night from neighbor’s prying eyes (always peeking between their blinds to see what’s going on….🙄…apparently they have no life). Only window on that side of house without similar (screwed in) blinds, I wanted something less obvious…and I can’t drill into window frame. Concern I have is they of a fair weight, and don’t know if they will stay put. Ends of top of blind mechanism that are supposed to be help hold it in place (sort of dismal rubbery pieces) look insufficient to hold them for long against a vinyl frame. I tried using something else to better secure blind, but it didn’t fare any better. I will be holding it in place at top whenever i pull shades up or down. Moved all my breakable stuff off table near window…just in case. Other gripe I have is that the pieces where you tighten ends on mechanism are plastic, and metal wrench could easily “strip” them if one is not careful, so that wrench is useless. Ease of installation can be a bit frustrating with that wrench.

It took about a week to get this. I didn’t have to cut them and for the money. It was a good deal. I wanted to put them in my bathroom because the heat was just coming through there and it was so bright and I can adjust the height of how I want it which I probably will cause now the room is dark . It’s got this little plastic in the middle that I can pull it up or down and it’s so simple. It’s actually good quality for something as cheap as I paid for it and for blackout it’s good because the bathroom doesn’t get hot anymore and I like the color because I want a white inside and dark outside very easy to hang. I didn’t have to drill at all very easy. Anyone can put it up.

Installation was seamless and arrived right on time. They truly are blackout and I have already noticed that they keep the room a lot cooler! A godsend for this Texas heat! For installation I recommend tightening the bolt a little bit at a time before sliding into the window sill, then putting it in at an angle and shimmy-ing into place. It's a bit hard to tighten the bolts once the shade is already in place, so this method worked best for me. Great value for the money and they are super light too!
