These are really nice shades. They were a PERFECT fit. I should have read the product description better though. It says they ae the "No Drill" shades, so I assumed they had the spring loaded adjustable clamp on the end like some others. NOPE, this came with 3M double sided sticky tape. One side on the top of the shade, the other side sticks to the top of your window frame. I wasn't sure this would stick well, but let me tall ya, the proverbial line you hear every man say when they strap down a load......"That ain't going anywhere" is a fact!...I am planning a remodel, so I will need to get more tape later on......or use the included brackets....which are nice in case this tape does fail. So.....great shades, but read carefully as these are not the type of "No Drill" shades you would expect. The only thing I wish they came with is a handle to clip on the bottom to grab onto when raising and lowering. But none of these things justify less than 5 stars, as it was exactly as described.....I should have just read the description more thoroughly!

These work very well. Are easy to install, very light weight, and look nice. The only thing I don’t like is when you pull them up if you don’t do it exactly right the blind will not sit flush at the top of the window, one side or the other will hang down slightly so it’s a bit of an angle, which is overly aesthetically pleasing.

I wish I didn’t get the blackout version because it really works. Putting them up was on the harder side for me personally because I never used a drill before. They do give a sticky strip for easy set up but they also provide a more secure way of putting the blinds up. They are super easy and satisfying to push up and pull down, and my kittens don’t seem to want to tear these down. So it’s a good buy!

My windows don't have wooden frames, they're just openings with windows (yes, they have sills). These cordless blinds fit perfectly in these openings. It's important to measure your openings several times,vin several places, as slight imperfections might appear. The openings were consistently 35" wide, and 70" or more in height, so I chose the 34" x 72" size. This provides for a half inch of clearance on each side, allowing the blinds to move up or down smoothly. Yes, I did use the screwed in clips, and they are staying in place. I read other reviews where people tried taping their blinds, and the tape did not hold. I am using the light blocking blinds in my bedroom windows, to control the light. For my other windows (in common areas), I am using the light filtering blinds.

We used the hardware method vs the taped method so I can not rate the 3M tape method. Pretty easy for newer pine windows. My house is 100 years old so the hard oak windows frames required pre drilling of holes. The fit was as expected. I requested a size less than width and have an inch on either side of blind. The filtered light ones are nice and the blinds meant to block light still need a curtain for full sun blockage. If they were black, they would block light better. I have white ones.
