I was looking for something to help keep the sun from heating a room with a west view of the setting sun. These were perfect. Velcro attaches to the wall, attach a sticky backed piece of velcro to curtain, attach velcro curtain to wall. Easy peasy. Fabric is flimsy and light weight, would be simple to cut for sizing. The black facing the exterior makes the window shown with a dark room. You cannot see it is a black out curtain. The gray interior looks like a simple straight gray curtain. Installation can be challenging, but it effectively blocks the sun and provides complete darkness. Adding extra Velcro tape for the sides would be helpful for an even better experience.

For the price in comparison to the other Amazon options, I AM IMPRESSED. It seems cheaply made but let me tell you.... it DEFINITELY blacks out... for comparison i posted Picture of my other "black out curtain".... same room.. same time.. same light... You see the difference. I'm DEFINITELY ordering more You have to assemble the product...ie put the Velcro together and roll the tube up.I didn't cut mine Bc I'll be moving windows when I move my baby to the nursery.... still WORTH THE MONEY ... show more
