I'm happy to say that one of these devices did pair with my garage. I followed the instructions well and it says that you have to open up one of the devices and there is a second button on the circuit board. The problem is the second button on the circuit board doesn't have a physical button on the housing which allows you to press it. What good is having two different buttons on the circuit board but the housing will only have a button space for one. If I take the circuit board out of the device I can program the second button so that it works independently of the first remote however You cannot program both of them to work at the same time using the same button on the circuit board. It's like they both use the same exact frequency and you can't use them independently. I should have only purchased one but I guess the second one is good to have as a backup in case I lose the first one. Update: after 3 months of use these don't work anymore no matter how many new Energizer button batteries I put in. I tried to pair them again and it says that it communicates but when I click the button the garage door doesn't open or close. Our main garage door opener does work very well it's one of the larger ones with the wide button I will be upgrading.

I bought and returned two sets of another brand of remote, because they were impossible to program. Those resembled in appearance the original remote, which had been lost. The LAWOHO looks nothing like the original remote, but programmed literally in seconds, and has been working perfectly ever since (programmed about 2 weeks ago). The only drawback I can see is that you can't attach it to the car's sun visor, as was possible with the original. I just keep one in the center console of the front seat, the other in the house, so I can open the door before I step outside. Highly recommend.

I bought this so that I could have a small, light garage door opener to keep with my bike. I now have it attached to the bike key and it seems to work just fine. Since I lock my bike whenever I stop at a store or wherever, the key and the garage door opener are never left unattended. While it works great on my bike, I would not carry this remote in my pocket since it takes only a brief, light touch to activate the garage door opener, meaning that just sitting down or reaching for my keys could easily activate the garage door opener. That's why I have it a 4-star rather than 5-star review.

This is the best garage door remote I've used and I will never go back to the bulky type. It's compact and light to put on a key chain, very good range that I can control from a few houses away (don't understand the negative reviews), simple one-button design (unlike my original fancy remote with 3 buttons that I have to remember which one to click on), and my favorite feature is that the button sits lower than the surface so I will no longer accidentally open the garage door when the remote flips in the purse or the center console. In addition, the seller has extraordinary customer service -- I had an issue with the order and they solved it for me right away. Thanks so much and highly recommend!
