I have installed the earlier version of this gazebo in the past and I can tell you this upgraded version is so much better in a lot of ways. The main rails are heavier rectangle shape for superior strength, and to make the frame even stronger, that they added corner braces that really beef it up. Then instead of plastic pole anchors, they are now metal and a larger anchor plate with 4 drill holes and securement to the pole with 2 screws (the earlier version the pole could slip out). I also like the top roof better as instead of tie closures, all for sides have zippers. I like this much better. The roof panel also has some grommet holes along the edge I assume to help with airflow and exhaust hot air. And the top panel now has a screen all around it that it didn't have before that will help with keeping bugs out. Overall, this has to be one of the best budget gazebos on the market. UPDATE: Our gazebo has been up for 10 days, and I'm happy to report that last night we had tornado warnings and some straight line winds of more than 60mph with torrential rains, and it came through completely unscathed! It rocked and rolled, but the anchors held it securely to the concrete and the covers and curtains, which were secured to the corner posts, were not damaged at all...VERY happy! Was not sure about this gazebo, but now that it's up...very pleased! It takes a bit more than one hour to put up, but younger people might be quicker. It's very well made and goes together easily. Looks great and really like that the expandable anchors came with it for our concrete patio...will see how it holds up once we get some wind, but I think it will do fine. Very happy! ... show more

The components were solid and the instructions were great. I was able to assemble it alone. The curtains used Velcro loops to hang rather than plastic rings which easily break with age. Had two serious wind storms after I put it up and it stood solid without ground pegs. I found putting the legs in heavy duty metal flower pots and putting gravel around the legs enabled me to move the corners and prevent tipping in storm. No anchors or rope/twine needed for stability. Only problem was putting the top canopy over last corner. Easier to put last corner on metal rod then connecting rod to top assembly. Excellent value compared to my last gazebo which was smaller and $200 more expensive. ... show more

I had a Gazebo over my patio before. It had a flimsy frame, and the thin covering quickly deteriorated in the sun. The hail easily punched holes in the cover. My new Lausaint patio Gazebo is a totally different story. The frame is well-made and sturdy, and the cover is a thicker, better grade that should last a long time. The real advantage is the ease of assembly and the added benefit of the drapes that easily slide when required for better protection from wind or the sun. Well made. Assembly is time consuming but simple. Material is high quality. the only con I have is that the measurements are not 10x13 interior space wise. The edges of the top awning measure that with the overhang but as far as the usable space post to post it measures about 8.5x12.. I would still recommend it but be aware of that when purchasing ... show more

Very well made product. I’ve had it in the rain and no issues so far. I do think you would want to take the top off if a hurricane or high winds are expected. I love the hooks to hang lights. The netting options for bugs and for privacy are nice to alternate between. Since we couldn’t secure it to a patio, it was nice that it came with L shaped “stakes” and strings for each corner to secure it. I haven’t installed the sand bags on each corner yet so that will help a lot (used logs temporarily). Overall this is a fantastic, durable gazebo for the price. In terms of design, I love that it has a double vented top - it makes it feel so much nicer when you’re sitting inside. Cannot recommend this product enough! ... show more

Seriously, the quality and sturdiness were surprisingly good. My wife and I assembled it in few hours at a piddle along pace. The only thing close to it was $750 at Lowe’s. Out of our budget…lol. This with shipping was half. Only thing I upgraded was the expansion bolts to anchor it in our cement pad. The ones included are throw aways.. We have lived with it for a couple of weeks now. Weather conditions ranging from hot sunny days to cold rainy days… and it performs great. It is water proof…but we scotch guarded the roof just like we do our camping gear. We didn’t get around to doing the scotch guard till this last weekend and we had a couple of rainy days the week before so I can attest to the “waterproof” claim. I gave it five stars because the quality far outweighs the price even having to pay for shipping. To be honest I saw the anchor system that was included and knew I would upgrade that anyway. Beautiful and pretty easy to put together. Instruction is only pictures, but we had no issues. We bought the 10x10 which is the size of the canopy. It measures 99" pole to pole which is just over 8'. This fit perfectly on our 9' wide deck. Look forward to using it this summer.
