  • Beautiful, well constructed with excellent customer service!
Color: Gray Size: 10'x13' Set name: gazebo
I ordered this for my 12 X 12' deck so I could use it more often. I wanted shelter from hot sun, rain and bugs. This gazebo has accomplished all these things and I might never get anything done in my house again as I have been enjoying my new "3 season" space for hours! I'm really glad I didn't get one of the aluminum structures from a competing brand. This Gazebo is made of very solid metal and all the foundational supports are square, not round and I think they will hold up to anything! I love that there is an option to attach to a wooden deck because that's where our structure is. Aside from being very solid and well built, this is a beautiful Gazebo. It blends in with the house and allows me to still have a view of our yard from inside our house. The attention to detail is excellent with a "skirt" under the eaves which hides the rods and loops of the attached screen and privacy curtains. There are big bands of fabric to hold one or both of the curtains (privacy and screen) everything zips up easily and the ventilation is great. There are small grommet holes toward the eves of the roof which is necessary to prevent water from pooling on the roof. But the roof is so well constructed that even during a downpour this morning, very little water came through the little holes because it ran so smoothly off the roof. I was able to hang out with a friend for coffee this morning and we stayed dry and mosquito free. The Gazebo was easy to assemble but it is important to read all the directions carefully. The only frustrations in assembly were when I messed up because I didn't follow the directions! With the exception of needing my husband to lift the structure onto it's legs and to stretch the fabric roof onto the beams, I was able to do this all myself. The canvas is very challenging to stretch onto the final support beam. This is necessary so that the surface is taut and doesn't sag during rain. It was easier to remove the top little tier from the rest of the structure and put the roof onto the four corners and then re-attach it to the frame. For the main rooftop, my husband used one of the loops at the corner and threaded the cord used to stake it down into the loop and pulled with all his might and I was easily able to slide over the post and zip up without worrying about damaging the pockets. I'd like to add that the customer service on this product was excellent. When it arrived, I was missing some of the roof support beams. I emailed the company and had a response within 12 hours and two days later I had the parts I needed. I was very impressed with this prompt response and wouldn't hesitate to do business with this company again! ... show more

  • Sturdy and stylish gazebo
We got the 8x8 gazebo and so far we're impressed with the quality. Assembly was easy enough. Just took our time and made sure we were using right pieces in right places, etc. Definitely speeds things up to have the Allen wrench attachment for the DeWalt so you don't wear your hands out with the little Allen wrench included with the gazebo. Full disclosure - by far, the most difficult part of assembly was stretching the canopy onto the frame. The small section at the top, used to vent the gazebo was really pretty ridiculous. I'm usually a mild mannered guy but that small section of canopy was causing spontaneous outbursts of profanity so intense, I thought I had crossed over to the dark side. Definitely rated R for language, so assembly requires 18+ :-) Ultimately ended up using a hack saw to cut about an 1.5 inches off of one of the metal tubes, filing the edges smooth, then replacing the plastic cap. Once I had done this, you couldn't even tell that I had cut the tube visually, and I was finally able to stretch the canopy over the frame, still requiring a lot of effort though. Suffice it to say it's tight and not coming off. It's very sturdy. We've had other gazebos through the years and many did not withstand much wind before either the canopy would rip or the frame would be compromised. Since building this one, we've had at least two severe storms with gusts 50+ mph. This thing took it like a champ. No damage whatsoever to the canopy or the frame. It's really a stylish gazebo too. We live in a condo and can't attach or anchor to anything, so we ended using large planter pots, bolting each of the four legs to the bottom of each planter, then placed two sandbags in each planter, covered by loose stone. It looks great and is completely adequate for keeping the gazebo safe and unmovable, even when faced with 50+ mph winds, as mentioned before. This gazebo is the perfect size for our small patio and it's just what we were looking for to provide shade during the heat of the day. Like I said, we're impressed and so far, wouldn't hesitate to buy again. I'd just be smarter about stretching that canopy onto the frame. ... show more

  • Great way to make an outdoor room
Color: Khaki Size: 10'x13' Set name: gazebo
We have a small house, so I love that we now have a relaxing space outside we can use as an extension of our house I love that we can open and close the bug netting (mesh) and the sides, depending on the weather & how we're using it. We put rugs down & added a standing fan to make it more comfortable to use. Pros The mesh sides are easy to hang using the velcro strips. There was a lot of loose threads, and the static made it hard to clean them off, so I found a lint roller made it easy to clean them off. The frame was well constructed, especially for the price. We rent our house, so we couldn't permanently install, so we are using bag weights to hold it down, but will have to dismantle it when the windy season comes, so I kept the instructions to make it easier. There are beans on the inside of the roof, so we hung solar lights up there using zip ties, which is great for lighting. It was easy to put together, except attaching the middle roof section is a bit awkward because we only have a step stool, but luckily my husband is 6'3" so he could reach it. It looks really nice & holds up in light rain, without leaking, but it is NOT water proof. All the parts were clearly marked & instructions were pretty easy to follow I love that it gives us a great sense of privacy, even when we have the sides open, but the mesh closed. Cons The vent in the roof is small, so it doesn't let the heat escape really well, but that is a common issue with gazebos like these, so we bought a fan to use inside (if we left the middle section of the roof off, it would be cooler, except the sun would shine in). The roof vent is also not tight against the roof fabric, so there's a gap bugs could get in, and there's no real easy way to reach it to try to adjust it. One design oversight is the ties to hold the fabric &/or mesh open. If you only want one half open, you can't use the tie on it's own, since it's in each corner, on the outside of the mesh & the inside of the fabric, and is designed to hold 2 sections (one from the long side & one from the short side). I like to have just one pulled open so it's easy to walk through (bugs aren't a big issue at the moment), so I use a clothes pin with the tie to keep the one (of the 2) sections open. If they had a reinforced slit in the mesh & the fabric side, it would make tying one section really easy, without having to tie up both or leave it flapping. Overall, we are really happy with the Gazebo & I highly recommend it. I took one star off because of the ties & the roof vent being narrow, but this is the best Gazebo I've seen, especially for the price. ... show more

  • Solid Gazebo with great customer service
Color: Gray Size: 10'x13' Set name: gazebo
Purchased and set up this Gazebo in early August 2024. Definitely a two or more person setup job unless you want to spend the whole day doing it solo. If you prefer commentary from the cheap seats include friends and family members that will sit and watch the assembly whilst consuming their favorite beverages. Regardless if they have ever, or are even capable of the work themselves, they will happily provide tips and corrections throughout the process. Don't worry, if you ignore them, they'll delightfully talk/yell louder. Any disagreements about techniques or methods will easily and slowly be resolved by enlisting innocent neighbors and strangers walking by to blindly agree with them. Added benefit is they will also contribute to the laugh track to any of your unintended three stooges style antics. A solid semi-permanent Gazebo that held up really well against the elements in summer, fall, and some winter. We regularly get high winds and gust warnings. As long as the legs are anchored well with proper weights (or bolted) the Gazebo wont move (used containers with sand on each leg). Unfortunately, being in a 'lake effect' snow area we got hit pretty hard over the winter while 10 miles away saw little, to nothing. Impressively the Gazebo held up through two back to back storm days that dumped 10-12"+ each day. On the morning on the third storm day is when it finally buckled under the massive amount of snow that had accumulated (I know this because it was captured on the cameras). Aside from a small stress indention on one of the long-side support bars, the roof frame was the only part that collapsed/inverted due to the weight. The roof converted into a bowl but the rest of the frame continued to hold the weight of the snow. Having been traveling for the holiday I wasn't able to relieve the stress of the snow until the fourth day after the storms had passed. Sadly, it required cutting the roof fabric material to let the rest of the snow to fall through. Even after clearing off 30% of the snow, the amount still left required shovels and a snow blower to manage it all. Customer Service: Since the frame held up well I reached out to Lausaint Home about ordering replacements for the affected pieces of the roof. They asked for images of the parts that needed replacing to assess and ensure the correct ones were ordered. Then instead of selling me the individual pieces they kindly, offered to make it easy and simply send a whole new Gazebo free of charge. Tips: Will limit the spectating audience size the next time setting this up. They also offer replacement/additional material so if you want a different exterior color later you can buy the curtains and roof separately. ... show more

  • Extremely nice and easy to build.
Color: Champagne Khaki Size: 10'x13' Set name: gazebo
We are ecstatic with our gazebo! It took my son and I about 3 hours total to build it. It looks amazing and went together very easily. Other reviews have mentioned the difficulty in stretching the canvas and they aren’t wrong. It takes some wrestling to get in on but it will go with some elbow grease. Overall we are extremely pleased. ... show more

  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Color: Navy Blue Size: 10'x13' Set name: gazebo
THIS PRODUCT IS A JOKE!! Multiple pieces were made incorrectly, completely eliminating any chance of setting it up. I will give a couple examples, and attach photos below showing what I mean. To start, one of the poles labeled E1 (used for part of the base in set up instructions) has two holes on either end that are supposed to allow a screw to slide through so you are able to screw the pole into part of the base frame. The holes made in this pole were so uneven that when one side was screwed in, there was absolutely NO WAY of getting the opposite side to screw in where it was supposed to, as the hole was tilted at an extremely strong diagonal, and the end of the screw could not meet the socket where it was intended to screw in at and tighten down. I moved on from this issue, initially intending to come back to the pole and redrill the hole myself so that it lined up correctly. Since there are two identical sides, I finished the first (in exception to the pole I had set aside) and moved to the correlating side to do what I could. BUT I ran into ANOTHER production issue! This time it was with the base frame itself. The socket needed for the screw to tighten in was completely missing. After looking closer, I could see it had been put on the inside back wall of the hollow frame. I attempted to screw the pole in still, but the screw could not reach that far. So now I will have to buy longer screws of the same thickness in order to be able to tighten them into their adjoining socket. Such a pain in the ass! I would honestly prefer a refund. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT! It is A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! Made EXTREMELY CHEAP! Like I said you literally can’t even set it up without having to first issues that should not have been there in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous, I honestly can’t believe it! I have set many many many things up by myself over the years. From chicken houses, to bed frames, to dressers and more, and have never ever run into quality issues like these. Hopefully this reviews reaches anybody contemplating buying it, and saves them the money! ... show more

  • Well made, durable, easy set up
This has been hands down the most durable and easiest-to-set-up canopy tent I’ve ever owned! We secured it to the back of our deck over a year ago, and it has endured high winds, heavy rain, snowstorms, and relentless sun and it’s still doing its job beautifully. I recently noticed a small hole in the top, but honestly, after everything this canopy has weathered, that’s completely understandable. The side panels and zippers are still in excellent condition, which really speaks to the quality. I’ll simply be replacing the canopy top, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tent to anyone looking for something sturdy, reliable, and built to last. ... show more
