Needed a quality chair with some lower back support under $300. Laura Davidson delivered! Assembly was easy - basically 4-5 parts you can put together without a manual. After a month of use, feels well built, upholstery holding together well, arm rests and footing is solid machined metal, smooth wheel movement - altogether quality chair on a budget. It's comfortable, but not "plush" so there's still a good level support. Lumbar curvature is great for my lower back, but not too crazy so the chair is still versatile and others at home can use it and be comfortable as well. BUYING IT AGAIN for another room.

For a superbly designed, sturdy, and easy-on-the-eyes office chair, look no further. The fabric version is less prone to feeling sweaty, and the faux leather version is more resistant to stains. The gas piston has a good range to accommodate most people and desk heights. My only criticism is that compared to an earlier version of this chair, which I own, and which had an excellent lumbar support, this version's back has a less pronounced and hence weaker lumbar support.

I purchased this chair for my home office. It arrived in just a few days and was super quick and easy to assemble. It only took about 10 minutes. It is sturdy, comfortable and stylish! It looks awesome with my modern decor and the blue color of the fabric version which I got is rich and beautiful. Ok, so we already know I'm a fan of this chair - but the customer service is truly what will bring me back to this fantastic seller over and over again. SO responsive, SO courteous, SO helpful, SO professional - and they actually resolved my issues (which to be clear, were from an ordering snafu on MY end - NOT theirs). Laura Davidson Furniture - thank you for restoring my faith that EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE can in fact exist online! Thank you for your professionalism - you left a lasting impression. This is a stunning chair reminiscent of the soho chairs of the 50s & 60s. This is probably the best reproduction on the market, definitely beautiful but not sturdy. The arms came a little scratched out the box. After light use, it seems to come a little loose and the arms require a re-tightening. It’s disappointing that for an expensive chair like this, that is still can’t escape the Made I’m China poor quality - keep in mind, this is probably the best one currently available. You might want to find a vintage chair and have it upholstered and you would have a much better made product for about the same price. The Chrome on this is cheap just like the rest of the Laura Brand chairs. Sad that a beautifully designed chair like this is let down by cost cutting, over seas manufacturing. Just cheap, cheap, cheap (and not for you as the consumer).

I’ve been using this chair daily in my home office for almost a year now. Here’s my take: Pros: looks good, easy to assemble, base is sturdy, wheels are ok, but I swapped them out for roller blade style ones to protect my laminate floor. Fake leather material is nice, comfortable, color has held, seems durable. Cons: the hardware is not sturdy or durable. The spacers are cheap plastic pieces that scratch easily (showing the black plastic underneath the thin layer of chrome paint) and break easily. As these plastic pieces degrade the chair squeaks. The frame also appears to be bending a little, not major and it might be an optical illusion. I’m a heavy man at 275lbs. So I’m putting more wear and tear on this chair than the average person. That said, the stated weight capacity is much higher and for the price they should have just used better hardware. If the hardware was quality and not cheap plastic this would be a 5 star chair. For the price of the chair it could be better. But it’s not a bad chair overall.

I bought this chair with some trepidation because I did not want to spend as much money but my previous chair had started listing forward. I looked for a chair that would be a little wider and made for someone heavier so that it would be stronger. This is an amazing chair. It was soooooo easy to put together. In quality, it is equal to much more expensive chairs and is very comfortable, and sturdy. Even though the cushion is not very thick, it is very comfortable for long periods of time. My only complaint is how easily the material stains. I have been very careful, but my pants and clothes leave marks on it and it is a pain to clean. I would recommend buying a darker color.

I bought the white one and couldn’t be happier with the look. It is so classy and makes a statement. It’s not the most padded chair I’ve ever sat on but I have a standing desk so I don’t sit for hours in the chair anyways so I don’t mind. If you plan to sit for long periods of time I probably wouldn’t recommend it. It was really easy to assemble and does look very sturdy. I bought different wheels (look like rollerblade wheels) and installed those instead and they really elevate the chair even more. The chair (being white) is susceptible to scuffs and marks from darker objects so I recommend getting a darker color if you have kids or pets.
