This air pump was very reasonably priced and has two diameters of tubing which the smaller diameter fit perfectly to the port on the side of the Laser. While running, I like the variable power dial so you can add a mild blow to a very good blast of air through the laser path. It definitely keeps the engraving sharper with much less side burn. With the laser head fan running, this pump is extremely quiet (against that background noise).

This air assist works very well and as designed. Unfortunely, my laser cutter does not have an attachment for it to be mounted. We are trying to figure a way to mount it independently of the cutter to assist, but right now I am unable to used

The engraver worked well for just over a month before it suddenly stopped functioning. Fortunately, Amazon made a one-time exception and allowed us to return it. While it was operational, the only issue we encountered was that circles tended to come out slightly oval-shaped, though this was only noticeable on very small cuts (2-3mm in diameter). Despite that, the machine allowed us to create some fun and practical projects, including drawers, drawer dividers, and layered craft designs like multi-layer animal figures. Ultimately, we decided to upgrade to a more powerful unit with an enclosure. If you plan to use this or any other open-frame laser engraver, be prepared to operate it outdoors or in a well-ventilated area (such as an open garage), as the smoke and fumes generated during engraving and cutting can be significant.

Machine would start and then after 10 seconds quit and disconnect. No documentation is provided and machine is not listed in machine list. I will send unit back asap because the return policy is only 30 days. Should have seen that as a red flag “ don’t buy this”. I tried to use GRBL laser and Lightburn with same results.
