Looks good
Very nice toy, little expensive though

This is a CLASSIC childhood toy!
100/100 Really . . . this is a CLASSIC. I remember Brio from my childhood a million years ago. The company is about as old as me. LOL I can’t recall if the scale/size has changed, but if it has . . . not by much. Every piece is SOLID. This toy will last a child’s lifetime and if cared for, their child and their children’s children. Ultimately, are they worth the price? It IS pricey, but IT IS THE BEST. ... show more

Classic set of quality Brio.
This set is much more than a figure eight starter set. It has enough track to accommodate several layouts. Included are an intersection, Y-tracks, and a bridge. It also has some short straights and smaller radius curves that help connect non-standard layouts. The train cars are good quality with strong magnates. The cars actually fit under the bridge, unlike some of the knock-offs. I’m adding this to an extensive set of Brio and non-Brio track. I really like the odd size straights and curves that solve the problem of layouts that don’t quite line up. This would make a great starter set. There are cheaper sets out there. Most have design flaws. This is Brio quality at a Brio price. ... show more

My son loves everything trains so I got him this. He loves it and has no issues in playing with it. I think it's a nice set however I feel that the tracks are not as smooth to the touch as some other sets we have that's why I took off a star because they could've sanded it down even finer or added a glaze/Poly to it to make it smooth. It felt a bit unfinished. ... show more

Great gift for my nephew!
This Brio classic train set is awesome! It was the perfect gift for my 3 year old nephew who is obsessed with trains. The whole set is wooden and very well made, nice quality. I can tell it will last a long time. The tracks are easy to put together and all connect well. The trains roll smoothly on the tracks. It's a great starter train set for him. He loves it and plays with it often. Overall satisfied and would recommend. ... show more

Basic BRIO Train Set
This is the second Brio train set I got for my two year old. The first one is a smart tech sound train set. This Brio Classic – 65th Anniversary Train Set comes with 32 pieces and it is a very basic but nice set to start with. Every piece is well made and of top quality. It is age appropriate for my two year old. Highly recommended! ... show more

Brio trains are the best
TwoYearOld loves trains. This is a great set with an assortment of track pieces. The train magnets are strong enough to hold together even when the train is being raced around the train track. It came with a diagram showing how to use all the pieces of track to make a layout. The pieces are compatible with many other sets (not all Brio) and that gives an opportunity to put them all together and make a bigger track. It's an added bonus that it's a 65th anniversary set. Maybe it will become a collectible! ... show more
