I’ve started using the salad plates as dinner plates. it's a great way to keep portions in check without feeling like you’re skimping, or it being noticeable to others. These dishes hold up well both in the microwave and the dishwasher, which is a must in our home. There’s nothing worse than fussing over dishes that can’t handle the rigors of daily use. Oh how I wish I would have gotten the blue, but the gray is more subtle and gives off a refined look! The plates are ridged so make sure to rinse before placing in dishwasher to ensure all food has been removed. The bowls are on the smaller side, wish they were a tad bigger though. My guess they would fit less than a cup of soup. Overall, these are so beautiful, the speckles add a nice artistic flair and the ceramics are dishwasher and microwaveable safe, which is a huge plus in my book!

i LOVE this dish set! im usually fairly picky with dishes but with these, i love the design and the quality. the insides of the plates and bowl do have a ribbed texture but it doesnt make it any harder to wash than a normal smooth plate. these are very well made.

I love these plates. I replaced heavy stoneware with these. What a relief. I'm so tired of the heavy stoneware. These are nice and light. They're very easy to clean because of the smooth surface. They're flat and have a decent lip that holds food on the plate better.

This is a beautiful set of handcrafted dinnerware. The bowls have steep sides perfect for soups and cereal. The lip on the plates are just enough to hold food without spilling. I got the neutral threaded speckled grey. These are great quality. I have ran them though the dishwasher several times now without any issues. This set would make a great house warming or wedding gift. Highly recommend. 5 stars!

The Good: -Claims lead free -Quality ceramic construction -Great color options -Practical bowl/plate sizes -Microwave safe The OK: -Doesn’t claim freezer/oven safe (wouldn’t be too worried, most ceramics are) The Bad: -Nothing If you’re looking for a great quality plate/bowl set this one might be it. Has beautiful color options and a fun but practical plate and bowl design. Set claims to be lead free and is dishwasher/microwave safe. They don’t claim freezer or oven safe but in my experience most plates will tolerate some oven and freezer exposure regardless. Consider the construction of the set is about as good as you will find it’s mostly about price and appearance. If you like the way this set looks and is priced it’s an easy yes.
