I once had some upper lip hair removed at a dermatologist and now have chin hairs that needed to go too. I was excited to try this laser hair removal kit at home and I’m pleased to say it works just as well. Everything you need is included: the laser device, protective glasses, a razor, and power cord with plug. The glasses look like regular sunglasses to me and the razor is an average one you’d get in a dollar store. The device itself is top-notch. I found it very easy to use with clear instructions in the accompanying manual. The razor only needs to be used the first time so it makes sense that it’s not fancy. I like that there are different intensities, 9 in fact. It needs to be used a couple times, each time the hair is less thick, before the hair and follicle are removed completely and won’t grow back. I’ve used it twice on those chin hairs and it’s been a few days with them not growing back so might not need to do it a third time. 

Note that laser hair removal does not work on white, red, or light blonde hairs, only darker ones. The device is comfortable to hold and fairly light. I like how long the power cord is. It needs to be plugged in while i use - it's not rechargeable. I also like that this has an automatic shut off feature if the device is not used for more than 5 minutes. I love that this device can also be used on acne and for skin rejuvenation. The different functions are shown on the LCD display, along with the lightwave intensity and number of remaining lightings (up to 999,900 - I think that means the total number of light pulses the devie can make. I’m not worried about there being a limit because the number is so high. I can’t see ever using it that many times). I was really nervous about using this for the first time because it said there could be pain. I'm not a baby but I try to avoid pain when possible. My granddaughter volunteered to do this on my legs. She read the instructions carefully and had no problems using it, it was pretty intuitive. Make sure you wear the included sunglasses because it is VERY bright. While she was doing it I avoided looking anywhere near my legs because I could easily see the light during the day out of the corner of my eyes. When my younger grandchildren came in the room I made my granddaughter stop for a bit. Then she decided to throw a blanket over my legs and continue. That did block off the light from the younger ones but it was too bright of a strobe under the blanket and gave my granddaughter a headache so she quit. I have continued on my own since then. I have been using it a couple times a week on the second lowest setting and while I have seen my hair getting finer I don't feel it has removed any yet. I know you get faster results if you put it on a higher setting and I will start doing that. I haven't noticed any redness or burns or skin tenderness. It looks like a quality tool, it feels like a quality tool, and the packaging looks expensive. I feel like the price is in line with what I got. Overall I'm happy with the product. ... show more

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST! Once I did that I was in business to get started. I only used it on a very small area to see how my skin would react and it was not bad at all. I have only started using this a few weeks ago, so I am still working on the entire semi-long term commitment to remove hair. I have been working on my underarms, bikini line and legs. I started at level one as per the instructions and am up to level three with no pain so far. The only thing I noticed is that it does get pretty hot after a while, but the instructions do say to only use it for so long, then let it cool down... I will continue to use it and will update this review if it doesn't seem to be doing anything. One thing I did notice is that the auto function doesn't always engage, so I have to keep pressing the button over and over which doesn't sound like an issue, but it does get tiresome when working on my chunky legs. ... show more

Laser Hair Removal Device for Women and Men, 3-in-1 Upgraded 999,900+ Flashes Ive been going to a med spa for laser hair removal. It takes 8 - 10 visits. So when I found this, I was super excited to be able to do it at home. But I was intimidated. There was no need to be. This is an easy, simple device! It's pretty much point and shoot! More specifically - shave, clean the area, put on the glasses, adjust the two settings, and pull the trigger. I can't speak to the engineering of the device since it's my first one, but others have detailed comments on that. I can speak to the ergonomics and ease-of-use. It fits well in my hand. The lower settings don't hurt a bit. It's effective at removing hair, but will take several more sessions for that to be permanent. It's pretty lightweight. It's got a nice display to tell me what power level I'm on. It comes with protective glasses. It's easy to switch between the 3 modes (Hair Removal, Skin, and Acne.) It's packaged nice enough that you could give it as a gift. I do wish they'd redo the instructions. I got this for hair removal, but am intrigued that I could use it for skin rejuvenation too. But there is no explanation of that in the manual. Is it like going for an IPL treatment? That would be great to do at home. ... show more
