Purchased this chair for my elderly father whom is now on Peritoneal Dialysis that I administer at home. Laying in bed makes it hard to drain if he is on his side. As a side sleeper your entire life it is hard to adjust to any other position. Anyway, I purchased this chair to see if it would help him and it has been a lifesaver so far. He can sleep comfortably while his dialysis is in process. I noticed others commenting on the massage not being the best, but I think its all about your expectations. It is not meant to be a professional massage chair/table, it is a basis massage just like one of the individual mats you'd buy for a chair. The lift operates just fine, we haven't had to use it much as he does still have some mobility. The material is nice and you would be able to wipe anything off if you got to it quickly. If that were an issue I would suggest spraying Scotchgard on it prior to using it. I placed a "Pet" cover on this one just in case. I had to contact customer service regarding delivery as it said it was out for delivery for a week after it said it would be delivered. The chair had shipped Fed-Ex, not Amazon. Then I found out that Fed-Ex put it as delivered the week prior and it had not been. Customer service said they would try to do what they could from their end and if they could not locate it they would send me a replacement chair. Suddenly the next day the chair finally arrived. So I found out that apparently Fed-Ex also uses a third party company to help with their deliveries as well. So be mindful of that because the company's Customer service is fabulous and they shipped it sooner than it stated, Fed-Ex was the problem. I am now thinking Ill order another one for dad's room.

I can tell you this chair is very nice I have had multiple times I've had to contact the seller due to an issue with the product. They have been very easily accessible and have met my needs thus far. I like that it has a long warranty I also extended the warranty through the Amazon warranty option. Warranty covers amazing things for easy coverages and repairs replacements. I have gotten a new power cord as well as a new remote control. I can say that the leg rest on the chair does have a little bit of issues with the fabric at times. Cup holders are amazing that they go in and out. For somebody that has a back issue it's a little difficult to lean forward to reach your cup if you were in a full back recline. So you would have to raise your incline to go back into the full seating position in order to get something from your cup holder. I do like that they go inside the chair for easy storage. They glide in and out extremely well. The Assembly of the chair was very easy to do a little on the heavy side but as expected with a full metal frame. I purchased this chair as I was having a hysterectomy. And it would make my surgery recovery easy. Great for somebody with back issues. Not the most comfortable chair to try to sleep in as it does not recline far back enough to be laying down in the sleeping position. But it is very comfortable to be on. Everybody that has set in this chair enjoys it. The massage is so intense that it will actually shake your floor. It is on the loud side I can hear it running outside of my house. Which is not necessarily a bad thing just means that it works very well and gives a good massage. The heat on the chair also is very nice not overly hot so no worries about burning yourself. But enough to alleviate your back pain. I wouldn't change a thing about this design. Definitely recommend it it is heavy duty and durable.

I purchased this CANMOV Power Lift Recliner in July 2025 for my mother. Initially, we were very happy with it—the camel color looks great, the fabric is comfortable, and the heat feature works well. The motor is powerful enough to handle the lift function easily. (Note: the massage is more of a light vibration and doesn't do much, but the other features were good). However, we recently discovered a major safety issue: the main support beam under the chair has a broken weld. The metal has completely separated, which makes the lift mechanism unstable and unsafe to operate. What is most concerning is that this chair is rated for a 450lb weight capacity, yet the weld snapped even though the individuals using the chair are all under 250lbs. The chair has been well-cared for and used normally, so this is clearly a manufacturing defect in the steel frame. I have reached out to CANMOV to file a warranty claim since it is within the 1-year window. I am hoping they stand behind the product and provide a replacement. I will update this review based on how their customer service handles the repair or replacement process. UPDATE (March 2026): I am raising my rating to 5 stars. After discovering the broken weld, I contacted CANMOV support. "Rosie" replied within 24 hours and immediately offered a full chair replacement. The new chair was shipped within two days. While the original defect was disappointing, the company’s commitment to their warranty is outstanding. It's rare to see a company stand behind their product this quickly and efficiently.

Bought it in July it’s Dec now and already the back of the chair feels loose and leans to the right. It is very comfortable until the last few weeks when I started feeling like I was leaving to the right. Also the foot rest comes up but you basicly have to. E almost laying down To have your feet up. I really wish that I could give more stars but for only having it 6 months and only having used it for 4 of those months because of having to clean out a spot and remove the old recliner it stayed boxed up for the first two months. I can’t say I recommend this chair it’s not very good neck support and the chair seems not to be very durable. Update. The original chair has been hauled away has the back collapsed backwards off of it completely and the footrests mechanism broke completely as well. Contacted the company and they sent me a new chair of the updated version I’ve had it since around Feb 2026 it is now Aug 2 2026 and the chair still feels good and working. I did buy a head rest pillow because there wasn’t enough neck support for me and I put a lumbar pillow because when you lay flat there feels like a piece of the frame doesn’t have enough cushion on e it but with these two cushions the chair is great honestly I tend to fall asleep in it from time to time as it’s so nice and comfortable. Only can do 4 stars due to the first chair issues and the need for the additional cushions. I do also feel like the seat might have settled a little and it might be lower than it was with my weight. But time will tell if that’s just the chair settling in or if something in this chair is slowly failing as well.

4 Stars for customer service. The recliner is very nice and seems to be well made. The description states that the chair is suited for elderly big and tall people. My dad is 6’4” and is not large. Tall, but not large. The stuffing on the arms of the chair is so big that it makes the seat too tight. The back of the chair only came to his neck. When reclined, it will not support his head. I added contact phone numbers and the gate code. FedEx left the chair at the entrance to the subdivision. It could have been easily stolen. My elderly father had to get help to get it home. I don’t know who’s at fault on the delivery issues. Since the chair was too small the issue was resolved with customer service.
