I bought this recliner because my old one was looking worn out and dirty. I visited a local store, but the prices were extremely high, so I decided to buy one from Amazon instead. There were many options available, but this recliner stood out to me because of its size and the built-in storage spaces on both armrests. It is extremely comfortable to sit on, and the fabric feels very soft to the touch. The delivery was fast, and it arrived in three boxes. Two of the boxes were fairly light, but one was quite heavy, so you’ll definitely need help lifting it. The assembly was very easy. Even though it came in three boxes, it took me about five minutes to put everything together once it was unpacked. I’ve been using it for about a week now, and I absolutely love it. It’s become my new favorite spot to sit. I also love the massage function and the overall comfort it provides

First, I’d like to say that I searched for quite some time and researched many different lift chairs prior to deciding to purchase this one as a gift for my mother. The chair arrived exactly on time but was damaged a bit during shipping of the product. It was plain to see that the damage occurred during shipping and was no fault of the seller. I immediately contacted FUNECORP and was shocked by how quickly they responded to my e-mail. It was very obvious from the beginning, that FUNECORP truly does care about their customers!!! Communication back and forth was so quick and I wasn’t waiting for hours for a response. They responded within minutes of each of my e-mails. They provided the absolute best customer service that I’ve ever had in my life and were so very helpful in getting my issue taken care of. They went above and beyond to get it all handled. Even though the chair was damaged during shipping, it’s absolutely gorgeous and you can really tell that it is very, very well made! I love that it has armrests that lift up for storage and also that it has cupholders for holding your drinks. The seat is very spacious as it’s 28” wide. It’s so nice to have the heat and massage functions on this chair as well. The remote has a USB port for charging as well. The lumbar pillow is so nice, you can leave it where it is for lumbar support or even use it as a pillow for your head if you choose. There really are just so many extras to love about this chair! I seriously cannot recommend this chair or this seller enough!!! For sure, any future chairs that I need to purchase, will only be coming from FUNECORP. When you have superior customer service and make your customers feel valued, then you will always have repeat customers. Thank you FUNECORP for such a high quality, beautiful lift chair and providing nothing but top notch customer service!!!!!!!

Once we figured it out (the instructions are terribly written in broken English), it is very comfortable. The motor movements are a little slower than I anticipated for raising the leg and reclining and the wiring and plug ins are almost a joke…not marked and there are many black plug ins and yes, you can follow the ‘plug in same colors’ instructions until it’s all black cords and plugs…then it gets strange and the instructions don’t tell you to cut the wires strapped to the bottom…just very difficult. If you can dig thru the bad instructions, it’s reasonably comfortable so far. It doesn’t feel sturdy. I’m 185lbs, 5’7” and I have room beside me for my small FurBaby!

I was very dubious about ordering a +-$900 recliner without having seen and felt it, but my initial observations are that this is an excellent chair, made with great quality and delivered much more quickly than expected. My delivery range was June 13-20 and it has already arrived on June 7, shipped from Georgia. Here are things which may be helpful to others: -Although it is very possible to put together with one person, it’s MUCH easier with two. It looks easy to just slide the arms into the brackets and you’re done but those brackets are at slightly different heights due to the design and it’s not as easy as it looks. That said I was able to do it but not without some trial and error. -Connecting the cables is idiot proof. Each cable can only connect one place, you really can’t screw it up. One small complaint I have is that they didn’t figure out a way to combine the heat/massage unit with the recline controls so you have two different fairly large plugs that have to go into the wall. They really should address this going forward. -I LOVE the fact that the footrest can be raised independently of the backrest. What I hated about my last recliner was that it was an all or nothing proposition. You press the button and the back has to go down to a certain point before the footrest even starts to go up. -Even though I’m a 6’2 man about 230 pounds, I picked this chair (among other reasons) because it is rated for 350 pounds. My assumption was that would protect me to some extent from the seat just breaking down over time. Time will tell, but this is a pretty firm recliner. You’re not going to sink into this chair which is exactly what I was looking for. It’s comfortable but supportive. -Another reason I selected it is because the seat height was higher than many others. By several inches. That may not seem like an issue but it is when you’re over 6 feet. With the chair just in the normal position, I can just stand up. I don’t have to “pull” myself up because I’m sitting inches lower than is comfortable. I realize the chair can help with that exact problem, but as a 60-something I don’t need that help (yet!) -I didn’t buy this chair for the massage or the heat. I’ve yet to sit in any recliner that the massage actually feels like it does anything for you and this one is no exception. It’s fine, no better or worse than any other massage chair, it’s just not important to me which is why I didn’t reflect that in my rating. Also be aware that the heat portion only works for the lumbar region, and that region is a little higher than one would expect. Again, not a deal breaker for me. -If you got the model with the lift up arms for storage and cups (They’re all a little different so when you’re clicking through colors and fabrics etc be sure to look at the specifics for each one. Some don’t have those lift up arms at all) this is a really nice feature. Seems obvious but when you’re reclining it changes your reach to a side table you may have next to your chair. It’s much easier to reach the built in cup holders on either side. -Another main reason I wanted a “big man” chair was for the seat width. It’s 24 inches and I love having that extra room. My dog Penny does as well. Anyway that’s all I have. I’ll update this as time passes if there’s anything to add. Hope this helps.
