The construction of the light fixture is subpar. I went through the trouble of having it installed to not have the final look. There are 3 pre-drilled holes that aren’t deep enough for the rods leaving me with 3 empty spots and exposing the light bulbs. This modern crystal chandelier turned out to be just the touch of elegance we needed to finish our dining room. It walks that fine line between classic and modern with a gold finish that feels warm rather than flashy, and the layered glass gives off a soft, diffuse light that makes everything feel just a bit more put together. Installation took some time, but the end result is worth the ladder work. The gold frame looks well finished in person, not too shiny, and helps warm up the light. We paired ours with warm white E12 dimmable bulbs, which gave us a soft, restaurant-like atmosphere at night. Installation was straightforward but not fast. The directions are clear, and the hardware is complete, but there are a lot of individual glass elements to hang. It helps to have a second set of hands, especially if you're working on a sloped ceiling or installing it over a stairwell. I appreciated that the package came with several rod options so you can fine-tune the height for your ceiling. Overall, it makes a strong visual statement without overwhelming the space. It's elegant without being too fussy, and the light it casts is soft and welcoming. We’ve already gotten several compliments, and it honestly feels like we spent more than we did.
