Inexpensive for something I needed. Quick and easy to install. Place where you want it, cut out mesh, align and push the bolts through the frame of the pet door and tighten. I like the idea of being able to lock it when you want to and in the direction that you want to with its four way entry / exit capability. No need for me to keep letting my pets in and out. They can go as they want to and that makes my life easier.

Door is very poor quality. The sliding locks at the bottom lock themselves every time the door closes. Had to tape the so that the dint slide down. Poor dog bangs her head into it and it won’t open. Also, has only been installed a week and the screws are already rusting. Don’t waste your money or time on this.

Door is sturdy, if not a bit heavier than it needs to be. We followed instructions and cut exactly to template. Door fell off third time dog went through. We had to rescreen the door - again - but this time cut the screen to the inside of the door (their template cut reaches halfway through the frame which is NOT enough strength to hold it on). Basically, install the door without cutting the screen, then remove the screen from INSIDE the door only. It's holding up for now, but it really is heavy. Our last door was much lighter weight and the dogs could use it much easier. I would not buy this again. FWIW - I'm a contractor and know how to install things...

Im glad i purchase this one for a replacement. I originally got the clear round magnetic plastic style for a thin polycarbonate shed and the door part didnt last 2 wewks and broke of so ive decided to replace it with something better and different but i also had to make sure it would fit due to the original cut out ill be working with and this was perfect for the job, the stray/abandoned outdoor kitties i save had no issues they immediately used it unlike the 1st one it was not exactly easy to open for them but without the door the freezing cold blows right inside so i had to replace it and thwy actually dont mind it. So if u need something for a thinner door like a screen door or glass or a polycarbonate panel this is perfect. It was super easy to instal and works as it should and loks awesome compared to the clear bulky one i had on prior.
