Made very well, sturdy and the two flaps keep the wind and cold out. My only issue is that I had to get the XL door to fit my existing cut out, since I’m replacing an old, different brand. ( I had a 100 lb lab that passed). No problem for our 40 lb border collie, but the door is difficult for smaller dogs. I had to remove one of the magnetic flaps so my 13 lb dog would go through. It was easy to take out two tiny screws and pull down on the flap. Once she gets used to pushing harder I can try both flaps again. It’s no fault of the door, just a size issue. The door is unbelievably well made! The flaps are sturdy and the magnets line the edges all the way around. It closes tight with no breeze coming through. I’m sure I will see a savings in our electric bill, plus bugs won’t come inside my house. I highly recommend this door for mid to large dogs.

The door is well made and easy to install but I thought I ordered either large or X-Large as I have a Rottie and a Anatolian shepherd and three smaller dogs so I always go big. It’ll work but pay attention to the size you order. Flaps are magnetic so keeps the heat or cool out. Has a nice locking door as my goat figured out the door so we had to lock him out🤣

I selected this door based on reviews, even paying much more for it. It is easy to install with a well thoughtout design. I purchased the double doors to avoid the cold wind blowing in during storms. The door delivers everything promised, however, my small dog and cats struggled with using it. The double flaps proved difficult for them to push open. They were accustomed to single flap doors and the double flaps distubed them. I finally took my kitchen bone shears and cut away the inner flap. Even with only one flap, it took six weeks of pushing them throught the door before the small dog and one cat would use it. At three months, the last cat will come through from outside but not from the inside, but she's a princess that demands I hold it open for her. Overall, A larger, stronger dog would pop through the door with very little training. Visiting dogs weighting 35-80lbs. pop through my door with ease. Smaller dogs and cats would do better by leaving the inner flap off during installation. The magnets are very stong and the single flap holds during a storm.

Easy to install, works properly. It has two thick flaps that close back and stay in place with a magnet type mechanism. It alcoves with a door that can be slid down and locked if you want to keep it closed off. My dogs started using it pretty quickly, maybe within a day. A few were a little skittish at first but now it’s just a door they can walk through.

I bought this doggie door for a couple of reasons. 1) it has a metal frame. Metal frames will hold up longer than plastic. 2) Magnetic doors. Living in the SW, during the summer, its critical to keep out the hot air and this door is doing it.

This is huge, it takes over most of the bottom half of the door. My husband used a saw to cut our door and then followed a previous suggestion of using caulk to seal it. It looks great, we love there is a lock to keep it from moving up and down which we use at night. We have 4 Great Pyrenees dogs. The biggest is just over 100 pounds, if they were bigger it would still work well. I saw someone posted their mastiff dog was over 200 pounds and had no issues. I believe it, this door is awesome.

We live in the mountains and have a Great Pyrenees that stays outside. We installed this dog door and it is heavy duty and well insulated. Our Pyr took his time learning to use it, as it is heavy and has a magnet to keep the door closed to keep out weather. But once he figured it out, he uses it all the time to check on us and then return to his guard duties outside. We're very pleased with it; the installation took a little time as we had to cut through a metal door to install it, but well worth the effort and the cost. Highly recommend this item.
