These walkie talkies are so much fun! The video is so clear and such great quality for being so small. Fantastic picture quality at this great value price. I'm still amazed. We are able to use it all around our two story apartment with ease and no interference. My five year old loves changing the voices between the alien, robot, and baby. You can tell which one you're in as it has the icon in the top corner. You just press the button at the top. You can have your video and the other person's video on screen or just yours or just theirs. I highly suggest reading the instructions so you know how to properly work it so you can teach your kids and they will have a blast like we do with these! I kept the instructions in my drawer until I was fully confident and my kids were fully confident in using these without them. Great quality video walkie talkies. So glad I got these! ... show more

The screen makes regular walkie talkie play feel way more exciting, and the silly voice effects kept them laughing while they played around the house. They are lightweight, cute, and easy for kids to use, and I like that they come with lanyards and charging cables. I wanted to include a video but not sure when my grandson can come help me so at this point, I am opting out of it so I can get this neat toy for kids posted. But is it a toy? ~This is indeed a walkie talkie but the range is very limited as to how far out one can operate it. ~This is ideal for the kids wanting to do covert operations both inside and out. Hiding from the opposite sex or from younger siblings or parents and reporting on where they are. ~One can see live action on the walkie talkie. Like on a cell phone one can see the whole picture or a partial picture with a smaller inset picture. The button on the top controls what the person wants to see. ~There are two side buttons: one for volume control and the other button is to be pushed when wanting to talk. ~There are lanyards to be attached so the user can carry the walkie talkie around their neck. ~This walkie talkie does not use batteries but does include two charging cords. It does not though include the standard charging port. Be sure to include one so the recipient is not disappointed when wanting to play immediately. The walkie talkies were partially charged when I received them. ~Lastly, there are easy to follow instructions that are included. ~I feel the price is on a little on the high end when compared with other similar walkie talkies. ~If my kids are grandkids where still “kids” I most certainly would get them one of these.
