  • My favorite pump
Love that it comes with the traditional way to pump but also the wearable cups! Some days I can sit and pump other times I clip on the motor and do dishes, laundry or go on a walk with my baby! The new storage lids are also so much better. The battery life lasts 5/6 pump sessions for me, and I do 30 minute sessions. Also the bottle nipple is awesome bc my baby absolutely loves the lansinoh bottles. The wearable cups are comfortable and lightweight it was also easy to pour the milk with them! ... show more

  • Great hybrid option, convenient and powerful.
I received the Thrive 2-in-1 Breast Pump (Model P3) as part of a promotion and was pleasantly surprised by how well it works. It truly delivers on its promise of combining the freedom of a wearable with the strength of a hospital-grade pump. The design is sleek and portable, which makes it easy to use on the go or while multitasking at home. Suction strength is impressive for a wearable. It’s strong enough for efficient sessions but still comfortable. I also like that it’s quiet and discreet. The controls are easy to use, and the battery life has held up well so far. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5: the pump parts can be a little tricky to clean thoroughly, and there’s a slight learning curve in finding the right settings for comfort and output. But once you figure it out, it’s smooth sailing. Overall, a great option for anyone looking for flexibility without sacrificing power! ... show more

  • Disappointed in lack of speed options (to stimulate letdown).
I’ve had 3 kids, and have used a few different pumps over the years. I received this pump from Lansinoh and was asked to share my thoughts and experiences. I wanted to love this pump, but I was actually disappointed. While the pump itself seems very well made, the actual suction modes don’t work for my body. My body is used to a stimulation mode that suctions quicker (to mimic the little fluttering sucking that babies do to simulate a letdown) but the stimulation mode on this pump was so slow- and was all too similar to the expression mode. You cannot change the speed of the pump, only the strength of the suction. This is the biggest issue I have with this pump. When using this pump, I got less than 1/2 the amount I do when using any of my other pumps, and that was even after running it a second cycle to try to express more milk. So- I spent more time pumping, and got less than 1/2 of what I normally get per pump session. The amount of parts to wash was also a slight downside- but I’ve dealt with this amount before in other pumps, so I wasn’t completely surprised by that. Another slight downside (but not a huge issue) is that the flanges are the type of rubber that collects pet hair. So while it’s more “comfy” it was like a magnet for pet hair. So unfortunately I won’t be keeping this pump. ... show more

  • Was not a good fit for me
3/5 stars. I wanted to like this pump, I really did. I thought the remote was well made and solid, the cups for the wearables were comfortable against my skin, and the shape was nice. The flanges for the PowerPump set was really comfortable as well - the purple rims are a soft silicone or rubber, and felt nice against my skin. One comment on the remote is that the stimulation and expression modes were not clear and the first time I tried this out, I spent about 18 minutes on stimulation before realizing. Additionally, the + and - buttons are switched compared to what would have felt intuitive to me (increase on the left, decrease on the right is what is on the remote, and it was intuitive to me to think that increase would be on the right side). However, there wasn't really an option in flange sizing, and the inserts for the wearables were still a bit big for me. I've been pumping since February so I'm no stranger to it. The motor was strong and the suction was good, but bordering on painful. However, no matter the suction level I could not get out any more than just drops. I tried multiple configurations and adjustments as I pumped, with no luck at all. Maybe more size options would have led to more pumping success. Normally, when I pump, I usually average between 4 to 6 ounces per pump so it is not a supply issue. I know one other person who has used this pump and she was able to get a normal amount so to me it isn't a product issue but rather possibly a compatibility issue. ... show more

  • Easy to use and convenient
I love this pump! It comes with both the wearable cup and funnel flanges so you can use whichever one you prefer. I like both depending on the situation. I also like how there is a single pump for both flanges and it’s easy to see to adjust the settings. The tubing connects easily too unlike my hospital grade pump. Overall this is my favorite pump due to the ease of use combined with the freedom of a wearable. ... show more

  • Great 2-in-1 pump from Lansinoh
This pump is super comfortable and easy to wear, even for someone with large breasts (42G). I loved the quick start guide -- it made it very easy to understand how to setup and get started right away. I found the pump very easy to assemble and had no problems with leaking out of the collection cups. The settings and interface were easy and intuitive to navigate. I am only giving 4 stars simply because I don't get as much milk output with this pump as I do with other pumps. I wish there was maybe one more setting where the pumps are a bit closer together in time but still very strong (if that makes sense). Overall, definitely recommend for an easy-to-use and easy-to-clean wearable pump! Oh -- and also LOVE that this is actually a dual pump (though I've just been using the wearable for now. It's such a smart design to have this be usable either way!! ... show more

  • Great pump for new pumper
This pump worked really well for me. I appreciate the design that allows me flexibility to move around easily when using either pump parts. I found the suction to be great and the flanges were really comfortable which makes a huge difference. It's a really great overall pump especially if you're early in your pumping journey and want to get a sense of what works for you and what you like. ... show more
