Needed some sconces to accentuate my entryway wall. A lot in the market either needs to be electrically connected, orrr the ones that fit my urban farmhouse style were too bathroom vanity-ish. This was perfect. The auto feature is great for lighting when someone comes home at night. So far, no issues with battery life. Only complaint is that it’s so small. So as you can see I added a backplate to my wall first, before I stuck on the sconces. Wanted to give more height and drama. (Backplates are just wood boards from Michael’s, spray painted gold, and nailed into the wall!) ... show more

This is in the hall outside of my son’s room so it turns on at night if he goes to the bathroom. It’s very bright and works well. My only small complaint is that the magnets holding the light to the stand aren’t as strong as I’d like. It’s very loud when dropped on wood floors! I would but it again though. ... show more

They're perfect because they're low profile enough to go just inside for a nice soft but useful light. This is a great little light but it has one inexplicable flaw, the magnets that hold it to the mount are laughable. They constantly fall off the wall on their own. I had to use double-sided tape and velcro to get it to stay. I seriously can't believe how weak the magnets are considering that is the only way it mounts. If you can get past that and do what I did they are really great little lights. Just make sure you get some velcro and adhesive (velcro because you will have to take them off time to time to charge them). ... show more
