An excellent, elegant way to prop up your laptop. I have a Asus ProArt on it and use the wheel. It seems pretty sturdy on it so far. I like having space underneath the computer to store my remotes or portable keyboard. Extra useful desk space is always welcome on my messy workspace. It is more difficult to adjust than some stands because you pretty much have to take the laptop off. It is also one of the reasons it is so sturdy. It really doesn't tale a lot of strength, you just get better leverage and can fine tune the position better without the computer on it. Once set I don't really need to adjust the height, so not a deal breaker for me. It slides easily to change the angle. I like it folds flat for storage if I need to ever put it away. This stand is ideal. The aluminum construction makes it strong, yet lightweight. The height range is great, and puts my device at the perfect eye level. The pivot joints feel sturdy. As some users have said, the joints are stiff - but I do not see this as a drawback. I am using the stand for an iPad, and I need it to be firm enough that typing and scrolling don’t move the stand around or cause it to collapse, as I have had happen with lesser-quality stands. If you have to fold it for travel or in order to move your setup frequently, I imagine the joints would eventually loosen up a bit; but again, I like the firmness, and I will not be moving or folding mine often. I especially like the thoughtful details like the rubber feet on the bottom, non-slip strips to keep your device from sliding if you bump it, and the logo cutout that allows for heat dissipation. All in all, a very good value for the money. I will be purchasing more of these stands as gifts. Highly recommend! ... show more

I chose this stand because I wanted something simple, sturdy and stable, and didn't need a model that pivots. What I received is just what I expected. But as sturdy as it is, don't expect to type your laptop s in-built keyboard without a certain amount of shaking. For typing, it's just fine, but I would never attempt graphic design with my laptop on this stand unless using my external, wireless keyboard. I love that it folds down flat, and that it has rubber disks on the underside of the base to protect surfaces. Expect to use a bit of strength when changing the elevation, but you wouldn't want a stand that would easily collapse. I bought this is I could elevate the screen view on my laptop while sitting at a desk with a lower, pull-out keyboard shelf on which I could put my wireless keyboard. It works perfectly for that, and when I take it to my coffee table, I use it in a lower position, and don't mind the slight tremors caused when typing on the in-built laptop keyboard. This laptop stand exceeded my expectations. It is incredibly sturdy and supportive. It holds my laptop securely and I have zero concerns about my laptop falling or being damaged.
