Thus far this has exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a tall/counter height table/island for a small apartment kitchen and one that would work for both my partner & I (he’s 6’3 & I’m 5’3). He isn’t scared to sit on the stools & the island is a good height for him. I was also looking for something with storage and I’m able to fit quite a bit in the storage space behind the slats. The slats face the entrance to the kitchen so the dutch ovens, vases, cookbooks etc. are hidden well enough. In a pinch four people could probably eat at the table using small plates for a party so it’s larger than some of the other options available, which is what I wanted. The table looks beautiful & high quality and was honestly a breeze to put together, I did it by myself in probably about an hour. The directions are clear, everything is well labeled, & just use common sense & don’t fully tighten until the end. I’m very pleased and truly hope it continues to last a long time.

Updates: the team reached out to me and help solve the problem by reissued a new table to me at no cost. The new table came today ! It is beautiful but i am guessing the made is different from the previous 2 (you can see in the photo the new table is more of a cool white) but the quality of the print is beautiful, the details from the edges and the corners has been improved as well. Deserve a 5 stars for the great customer service alone, the quality of the new table is a 5 stars as well. My previous review: i bought 2 set of these so i when i saw the first one come in with teh table surface being mess up with the paint i was worried so the second one came in and instead of the paint being messed up it the side of the table paint being chipped off a bit ( guessing damaged from moving or delivery) the table is light and easy to move so pair it with a rug and thing should stay in place a bit longer. the chair is not as sturdy as i would like but they are good for the price. overall a little disappointed with the table surface since it is the selling point of the set.
