I didn't realize ladders even came like this! This was a huge game changer for our house and is great for literally any job we needed it for. It stores incredibly well and is easy to move - no worries about knocking into any door frames or ceiling beams since it's all so compact. It's compact enough that you could even put this in a car, no truck needed. We end up using this as a scaffold and a work table a lot more than I expected. It's so convenient to have a full surface to work on than constantly having to adjust a ladder. My one complaint on the unit is that the scaffold plates are really difficult to get in and out of position. We ended up bending one of the plates pretty bad during out first use (still usable at least, and they're much easier to remove now haha). I'm not sure if we were just doing it wrong or if it's just the way it was designed but be careful when installing/uninstalling these. Incredibly useful, very sturdy and well made.

so I've wanted a Little Giant since about 1998. 'cause man, those things looked so cool! I came across this ladder and decided to give it a try. ****************** WHAT'S GOOD ****************** * it's legit sturdy. I feel like you could set it up as a bench and several people could sit on it safely. * it's got wide feet so when you lean it against something, it feels stable. * it comes with scaffold platforms which makes it safer to use in that position. * each joint has blue-coated levers to help manipulate the hinge. ****************** WHAT'S LESS GOOD ****************** * I'm pretty sure that the hinge/joints relock every 15 degrees. that means that if you want to adjust it, you have to adjust and adjust and adjust and adjust. oh, and now that it's in a different position, there's more pressure on that joint, so now the blue-coated lever is under pressure and doesn't want to unlock the joint. * adjusting on-site takes sooooooo long. we were playing with it in the backyard, just experimenting, and it was fun. I actually wanted to use it in my stairwell, and it took me 35 minutes to set up. * it doesn't come with any sort of transportation or storage solution. I've seen a lot of ladders that have wheels on one side to help you move it. and a lot of products these days come with carry straps / handles that you can also hang the thing from. this ladder has neither. * the HEAVY part of "heavy duty" is less cool when you have to move it, support it, wiggle around it, readjust the hinge,...and still keep it from falling. not a good time. ****************** PRO TIP ****************** it did come with a single sheet of paper showing positions for the ladder, but it didn't include any "here's how to manipulate it" instructions. I found a YT video by searching for the brand. that one is a different model than this one, but it gets the point across. that was super helpful, I found. ****************** SPECIAL NOTE ****************** I was contacted after the first review and offered a refund. I think that's nice. I'm adding a star (from 3 originally to 4.) it's still a pain in the tailfeathers, but I always appreciate when a store / company / manufacturer actually takes time to read reviews and responds. ****************** OVERALL ****************** it's a heavy-duty ladder that has some really good applications. if you're part of a team, I can see where this could be really handy. for an average person, I found it unintuitive and hard to manage. that said, it's well-made and in the right circumstance, could be a real asset.

This ladder is very versatile with many different configurations and better yet it is very easy to adjust. It is constructed of aluminum so it is very light weight and easy to carry around. To adjust the ladder you simply pull up on the blue tabs near each joint that you want to change, a lever will move and lock into place. Simply move the section you wish to adjust until it locks into place. With the feet bars attached this ladder is very sturdy and very much usable. This can be used as a small platform scaffolding and it comes with two metal plates to be used for this purpose.

Very handy light duty ladder with multiple uses. I have tried it as light duty scaffolding, extension ladder, and A-frame-style ladder with good results; additionally, it functions fairly well as an impromptu work table. However, it is important not to expect this to be a true scaffold set that will handle 1000 lbs.; it is not, as its rated capacity is 330 lbs. I have tried it personally at 200 lbs. and felt fairly secure, but I would not push beyond the 250 lb mark as it does become more elastic at that point with added material weight. It is also important to note: it is not a true 'telescopic' ladder as one section does not slide into another; it folds or unfolds in an arc from a pivot point. If I felt there was a downside it would be with stability when used as scaffolding. When standing on it, parallel to a wall, you might reach its tipping point when using a power tool, such as a drill. Pushing on a drill might push you outward and beyond its center of gravity (if you are not careful). I would have liked to see extendable stabilizer bars, beyond the '40% longer stabilizer bars' it is now equipped with. I do like the 'upgraded' joint locks. They have a positive lock and are easy to operate. Overall it appears to be a well made, sturdy, and versatile light duty ladder. I will use it often.

It's super useful, super stable, and easy to store. Going for the larger one is probably a good idea, because of the ways that this can be used, you don't have to worry about it being too tall, or too hard to store. I got the smaller one because i already have a large one like this from a long time ago and love it to death. The smaller one is lighter, and is the perfect height for using as a working space when folded that way. It's really nice to have the aluminum panels with stabilizing tabs to make it a nice plank without needing to carry wood around, and they store in the ladder when you fold it down. In short, you really can't go wrong with this ladder, it's very well made, i certainly love mine!
